morning. the search for suspects has been on since early this morning. >> it was a little nerve-wracking coming into work and seeing police tape and cars. >> reporter: he owns rockville interiors across randolph road from the united gun shop where close to 4:00 this morning montgomery county police were called to a break-in. it appears suspects made a quick go through this front door, triggering a silent alarm. the suspects making off with several hand guns and long guns. >> it's really concerning there could be i think they said 30 guns suddenly show up on the street. they can track people down and keep it all off the stlereet that's wonderful. >> store staff are counting up the stolen guns, surveillance cams are trained around the crime scene and they could have caught the suspect and get away which may have left the tire tracks next door. >> and police looking at all leads this morning. the united gun shop has been in the news be.

the columbia mall shooter from his from the store. no red flags were raised at the time of that investigation. as this investigation continues this morning, we do know police are looking for at least two suspects and perhaps a getaway car. an update is due later today. justin finch, news 4, back to you. now to a developing story, the federal communications commission is investigating what caused an at&t outage. it prevented customers across the country from being able to call 911 last night. the issue resolved about 10:30 but affected customers in and around d.c. up to two hours. the d.c. office of unified communications said they worked as quickly as they could to make sure people had what they needed. in case of a serious emergency -- >> as a city we want to be sure we want to get the best information out as soon as possible to make sure folk

being arrested during a political protest. he was among six people arrested after protesters disrupted a rally inside the state capitol in st. paul. it was hosted by president trump supporters and kaine got out of jail tuesday and not been charged. the senator and his wife released a statement saying their children fully understand the responsibility to peacefully express their political concerns. >> there is new push in the house of representatives that could have a big impact on our local economy. utah representative jason chaffetz introduced a resolution that would allow some federal agencies to leave the d.c. area. chaffetz says it will allow the federal government to be more representative of its people. news 4's tom sherwood reports 85% of federal workers do not work in the d.c. area. this idea has come up several times over the years. if you're looking for a job, you're living in the right place, glass door considers d.c. one of the best job markets and best paying jobs this year

depression after a heart attack may increase the risk of early death. a new zuddy tracked 25,000 adults recently diagnosed with coronary heart disease. patients who developed depression were twice as likely to die over the next decade than those without depression. heart patients should get regular mental health screenings, maintaining an active lifestyle now could end up paying off if you're ever diagnosed with cancer. breast cancer patients who did at least five hours of moderate exercise before their diagnosis were 60% less likely to die from heart disease. and less likely to suffer a heart attack. >> a tennessee man is arrested in the murder of

a man is now facing charges for a high profile murder. tiffany ferguson was killed in nashville last month. thomas roberts explains how police caught the suspect. >> this morning police say the search for the hooded figure in this surveillance video is over. >> all of the detectives and patrol divisions and multiple precincts, it's been an overwhelming community support to bring this together. chris ton mclaw horn has been charged with criminal homicide and aggravated burglary in connection with the murder of nashville nurse, tiffany ferguson. >> we believe he was trying apartment doors looking for easy access and this particular apartment door was open to him and during the cse

it's a little breezy right now but winds are calming and then we've got changes by the time we head into tomorrow morning. tomorrow morning's commute to be in fact. this evening it's dry and mild. cold air not coming in until tomorrow. still looking great at 2:00 a.m. look at this in time for the morning commute. looks like we're going to have a little snow but we'll see snow flakes mixed in with the rain pushing through our area any time after 3:00 or 4:00 a.m. until noon. the winds will pick up tomorrow afternoon. we could see a few light showers or flurries floating down from the north and west. not going to create any accumulation and don't expect accumulation tomorrow morning. and look at the next five days, don't forget to set the clocks forward, after today feeling like 20s and 30s with the wind tomorrow afternoon and definitely in the 30s to right around 40 degrees by the time we head through the weekend. spring forward, let's see if we can find any more

soften up. like to let it get a little color, soften up and bring the flavors together. each time i add a fresh ingredie ingredient, i add a little salt by getting rid of moisture. >> isn't that going to resemble more of a chicken soup? i've seen some chicken fee he is at a soups that more like a pureee. >> some crumble up the tortillas and cook that down and why you get it more pasty. we're going to add ours at the end of the soup so it's a little more brothy, like to jazz it up at the end. we have tomatoes. what we did, roast these tomatoes on our grill to add nice smokey flavor. we want to add a little depth and dimension at each ingredient. again, little extra salt. you season as you cook, you end up using less salt over all. a lot of people forget to season as they are cooking a
