breach at the white house since trump took office nearly two months ago. the secret service said in a sfamt the unidentified individual was arrested on the south grounds after climbing an outer perimeter fence near the treasury department last night. the agency said a search of the grounds found, quote, nothing of concern to security operations. homeland security secretary john kelly was also briefed on the incident. more information now. be the they plan to begin raising the fence in the next year or two. those plans were revealed in a news4 i-team report and they include a terrell base and the use of spikes to make the top of the fence harder to climb. joseph kaputo scaled it in 2015, got probation and then

one person is dead in the indian head area of chars county. a truck traveling went off the roadway and struck a tree. the crash happened near riverside road this morning. there was only one person in the vehicle and that victim died on the scene. right now investigators believe driver error caused the wreck. a reminder to move over when you see emergency vehicles with their lights on. prince george's county police say a car rear end ad fire truck early this morning on the beltway at iron town road. the truck was there blocking the scene of another accident when it was hit. four firefighters were hurt. we're told that they should be okay and the driver who hit the fire truck had some minor injuries. we're to learn whether he or she will face any charges. our officials tell us the truck, worth as much as $600,000 is totaled. a

the u.s. attorney's office in d.c. says the man who jumped the house fence last night was in a d.c. courtroom today. they said jonathan tuan tran is from california. this is file video that we're showing you. this is not from today's incident. he is being charged with entering or remaining in restricted grounds while carrying a dangerous weapon. this is file video that you're seeing. if convicted, the charge can carry up to ten years in prison. we're told president president trump was in fact home at the time of the breach. a bill requiring had

we'll keep a close eye and it will impact by going up or down. 9:00 a.m., we're tracking snow across the area. and then we'll continue to have snow at times with a bit of a wintery mix possible. i want to let you know. this is the first look and it is going to change but here's what i'm thinking, and here's what i'm seeing based on the latest information. washington, southern fairfax, fauquier, stafford counties, prince george's and anne arundel county, two to five inches. north and west it is colder so you will see more snow falling. five to ten inches. then down to southern maryland where you're only seeing one to two inches of snow. so snow closures, a high likelihood. the commute tuesday, also not looking good. snow on roads, wednesday morning we will see some delays atop the

the wizards game against the sacramento sings was an easy one to overlook in their schedule. a late night against a bad team. the wizards had a chance to win the 40-win mark for a fourth consecutive season to stay on pace to reach 50 wins. oh, yeah. they could also move into second place in the eastern conference. the wizards looking for the third straight win on this road trip and first in sacramento
