person, this afternoon on the vegas boulevard in the heart of the strip near the cosmopolitan hotel and casino. that person has died. one other person went to the hospital. officials tell us that victim is in fair condition. and this story develops, we're going to bring updates on an air in and our nbc washington app. a disturbing discovery on the potomac river, a fishman spotted a body. d.c. police pulled the body of a female from the water and are now handling this investigation. we don't yet have her age or identity. stay with news4 as we continue to follow that story. there is now a reward for anybody who can help catch a killer in prince george's county. police found a man dead early this morning, and they sent these pictures from the scene on edenburg lane. officers are calling this a murder. they have little else to work on in the case right now. it's on to tax

it has been a three-ring circus from the day they moved in. those words from a resident who lives across the street from ivanka trump and her family. according to the associated press, residents attended a neighborhood commission meeting to complain. ivanka trump and her husband, jared kushner, moved into a rental home with their kids just after the inauguration. neighbors say vehicles associated with the household are parking in restricted areas. they say the family's private security is aggressive, and according to residents, the family has been leaving trash bags on the curb for days. any famous people, including former president obama, live in the neighborhood. a lot of people took advantage of the mild temperatures today to go and check out the cherry blossoms. and getting some encouraging news about the peak bloom. i'm melissa molette with your first 4 traffic. and a look at metro this weekend. again, safe track

you're watching news4 at 6:00. in case you didn't know, it is the weekend to go see the cherry blossoms. but i'm sure you know that by now. the national park service says the trees are at peak bloom right now, despite the cold snap earlier this month. derrick ward braced the traffic to get you an up-close look. >> very nice. >> reporter: it's become a place where moments are made. all against the backdrop of the blossoming boughs. >> it's beautiful. never seen anything like it. >> traffic was crazy, but it is beautiful. and i love the reflections of the water. with the memorials, too. >> our daughter is 7 months old, it's the first time down here. it is a tradition for my family. >> reporter: and first time visitors are instantly won over. >> i've seen pictures. they're beautiful. they're beautiful today. >> reporter: today the international aspect of this

with that, some minor shower chances. i wouldn't change or cancel outdoor plans over the next few days. no, some isolated showers here and there. more details on that in a moment. as we cool down tomorrow, we're right back into the 70s for your monday and your tuesday, overall to pretty nice days. here's the latest on the satellite and radar. some light showers up around the baltimore area. but we're still staying dry. i can't rule out an isolated shower overnight tonight but most of us stay completely dry overnight. here's a look at where we're at right now. 75 degrees in frederick. 77 in washington. but then look at annapolis with winds off of the water, only 62 degrees there. and that's going to be everywhere tomorrow. highs in the mid to upper 50s after, again, we were near 80 today. so take a look at your sunday planner. 7:00 a.m. it's cool, it's dry, and it's cloudy. 54 degrees. and we kind of have steady temperatures throughout the day. lunch time, 55. 4:00 in the afternoon, we'll

degrees and a few light showers around 7:00 p.m. only about 20%. otherwise we're in the mid 50s during the evening hours. and also tomorrow, you can see mostly cloudy skies here. toda we had kind of that hazy sunshine. tomorrow the skies will likely be a little bit more gray with thicker clouds around from start to finish. despite that, the weather having a pretty low impact on your sunday outdoor exercise, comfortably cool out there, especially going for the run, maybe chilly for the bike ride. cherry blossoms as you saw in derrick's package, peak bloom. next weekend we see the blossoms off of the trees. if you're heading out to sunday brunch, long sleeves, light jacket, on the cool side. overall, pretty nice and dry around the midday hours. if you are going to be heading out to dinner tomorrow night, maybe a shower. anything that would happen would be very light. then fast forwarding to monday. this is monday morning at 5:00 m. the chance for some scattered showers around, potentially slowing down that morning

some light rain moving through the district. but for the midday and afternoon hours, we're dry. we keep the clouds around, but our temperatures soar. on monday, highs in the low to mid 70s. and then on tuesday, we're mild again. a high temperature of 75 degrees. a bit of a better chance for some scattered showers, maybe even a thunderstorm on tuesday. the timing on any rain tuesday would be later in the day. wednesday we're cooler, but still pleasant. partly sunny skies. a high temperature of 64. comfortably cool on thursday. 57. and then friday we cool down into the low 50s with a chance for some showers, especially later in the day. chance for some showers, erika, next saturday. the timing right now favors the morning hours with a high around 60. next sunday it looks like we'll have a high temperature near 60 degrees, as well. with plenty of sunshine. but again, a big drop in temperatures tomorrow, and then we warm back up into the 70s for monday and tuesday. >> this is why i love our ten-day. now we get a longer look at the beautiful 60 and 70-degree temperatures. >> just a little chill
