melissa, thank you. we continue to follow breaking news at 5:02. fairfax county, police are on the scene of a barricade situation. they have been there for hours on culpeper road. >> been following this closely. news 4's justin finch has been talking to police and is on the scene. what are the latest developments? >> reporter: good morning. so far we are definitely hearing more than we are seeing. recently we heard a constant ring of sirens. a man is hold up in the house most recently saying something to the effect of please come out with your hands up, but so far at this time there appears to be nothing. i want to take you now to video of the scene. earlier culpeper and londonderry road. this came in as a welfare call, a man possibly with a mental health crisis. two kids could be inside the home with the man. fairfax county police are tg

and new supreme court justice neil gorsuch will be on the bench at this time. on wednesday the court will hear a claim that missouri discriminated against a lutheran church by leaving its preschool out of a program to improve school play grounds. missouri's constitution says no state money can ever be spent to aid a church. the church says it should not be treated differently when it comes to making playgrounds safer. it was a somber start to a fairfax county church. they began their service at the memorial grove behind the church on easter sunday. they sang and worshipped there after the week began. their church hs graffiti spray painted on the walls. and the memorial grove is part of a wooded clearing where

alcohol and speed are both said to be factors in a deadly crash in charles county. two people were killed and six people were injured when two suvs collided late saturday night. this happened on leonardtown road. a driver and passenger in one vehicle were killed. they have not said which car was speeding or who was under the influence of alcohol. prince george's county will be the next county to get the capitol bike share program. they will launch that program. the program already exists in the district. 67 stagtions will be installed with 670 bikes phased in over a few years. well, it has only been a week since that video of the man being dragged off the united airlines flight went viral. now they're dealing with more accusations of abuse. >> this time a couple headed to their own destinati

said they were booted off a flight. they sat down in the wrong seats because a man was lying across theirs. >> but first they were escorted to their direct seats, then they were told to get off and wait for a flight the next morning which was actually their wedding day. >> in a statement the airline says these passengers repeatedly attempted to sit in upgraded seating which they did not purchase and they would not follow crew instructions to return to their assigned seats. by the way, last week's video, united is now changing its policy when it comes to bumping customers for crew members. in an internal memo united said the flight booking has to be made prior to the departure. this is an initial step to see if this never happens again. tied up in toronto. the caps quest for the cup continues. up next, why fans can make it even harder for a hometown team to pull off the win on the

annual white house easter egg roll. the first one for president donald trump and the first lady. >> that's right. news 4's amy cho is there live with a preview. amy, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, guys. the egg roll is a couple of hours away. we haven't gotten around on the white house grounds. we're standing outside the executive office building. this is as far as the guards will let us get. the white house says they're expecting 20,000 people here today. the company that makes the eggs has tweeted out to the trump family letting them know manufacturing deadlines were coming up and asking them to please reach out. they placed a rush order so there should be eggs here today. the egg roll is expected to kick off at 7:30. right now things still looking pretty quiet. we haven't seen a whole lot of people out here.

right now it is a very warm 69 degrees in washington. this cold front will take a bit of an edge off the temperatures. most of the light rape be back out across far western pennsylvania. there are some rain drops to be found here. parts of western howard, northwestern montgomery county. moving through manassas, falls church. friends and neighbors down in falls church and springfield and newington. have your umbrella ready to go. carries the best chance of rain into the d.c. metro. 10:00 a.m. up to 1 or 2:00. rain drops to southern maryland. by 4:00, 5:00, everybody should be dry. temperature wise, mild start in the 60s. temperatures should easily make it back up into the low and mid 70s. beautiful weather for tomorrow. maybe a stray
