construction. crews were still putting out hot spots. officials believe the fire was an accident. a heated battle between metro could affect your plans. the two are locked in contract negotiations. metro workers are threatening a sick out. they told their supervisors they're not coming in on friday. metro supervisors are being told they will have to staff up and work 12-hour shifts this entire weekend if front line operators like bus and train operators don't show up. >> makes me feel stressed that, stressed with the work commute anyway. >> i hope they do work it out because people rely on that. >> union workers say they do not support a sick out, and they do not believe one will happen, but they're planning a march from the judiciary square to metro board meeting on friday. three people are in the hospital after this bus crash in

one person on the bus were hurt. two people in the home were hurt. we're told six residents to live at the home had to stay somewhere else last night. no word on what caused the crash. more movement on the korean peninsula. angie goff has more. >> that's right, aaron. the u.s. beginning to move parts of its anti-missile defense system to south korea. take a look. this is happening actually faster than it was expected. you can see military trailers carrying what appears to be launched canisters. they're going to take them 155 miles south of seoul. and sparks protests by hundreds of residents. the front-runners of korea's presidential election is also opposed to the controversial system moving in. last year the u.s. and south korea agreed to deploy the defense system that counter the threats by the north. and the pentagon is saying this is a

south korea and its allies. >> angie goff, thank you. it's 4:31, it will be a busy day as president trump enters his first 100 days in office. some members of the house will receive a briefing. meanwhile, president trump is dealing with another legal setback. a federal judge blocked his executive order on sanctuary cities and threatened to oppose funding from those cities that don't cooperate with immigration officials. and the president is expected to unveil the blueprint for his tax plan. that tax reform plan has been a key part of the president's agenda up to this point. so here are four things that we're learning about this plan. according to "the new york times," president trump's tax plan will include a massive cut for corporate income tax dropping the top rate from 25% to 15%. the proposal is also expected to include some sort of benefit for child care. though it's not clear how much at this point. it also

giving a modest cut for middle income earns. the "times" says as of last night, the plan did not include the president's promised trillion-dollar infrastructure plan. today, a battle over airbnb is shaping up for the d.c. council. thousands make extra cash by renting out rooms. the district is looking whether it can regulate some of those owners who are making it a full-time business. the council member proposing the plan said the legislation targets commercial airbnb operators who rent multiple rooms and undercut the city's affordable housing shortage. >> we want to make sure we keep our long-term retro housing for residents. it makes for higher rent and less affordable housing. >> d.c.'s attorney general has also filed a new lawsuit against a landlord using airbnb to use apartments that fall u

welcome back. it's 4 ooch:40. this morning, there are health concerns over a proposed cell tower in prince george's county. neighbors in greenbelt made their voices heard at a heated community meeting last night. t-mobile and milestone communications are hoping to build a cell tower at eleanor roosevelt high school. it would be more than 100 feet tall. the companies say that power would help improve network coverage. but neighbors argue it would be a danger to their health. >> it's dangerous to everybody. it's dangerous to the health of children. it's dangerous to our property values and it's generally not accepted by our community. >> now milestone says it uses a third party company to test safety at all tower sites so

back to you. president trump marks his first 100 days on saturday and today, he's set to unveil his tax reform plan. >> it's a plan that is set to include a massive tax cut. tracie potts is on capitol hill. tracie take us into the proposal and what it means for families. >> what it means for families, the administration says, is more jobs. they're expecting to announce a big cut for businesses. corporate tax cut from 35% to 15%. now, on the other side, people who are against it say the problem is, when you bring that much less money into washington, into the government, you can do less. so, a lot of the programs out there helping poor people, helping working families, could be cut. or maybe even go away. >> tracie, what's the latest on the negotiations to avoid a government shutdown? anything on that? >> yeah, they're working on it. because now they've cleared a big hurdle because president trump has pulled $1 billion for

already crowded field for the democratic primary. the district seat is currently held by republican congresswoman barbara comstock. fairfax, virginia, say they're working around the clock to find out who murdered a 77-year-old man at his retirement community. detectives are focusing on the eating center in falls church. they say he went to the eating center the same time every day. officers posted flyers around the shopping centers. it's about 15 minutes away from the little river glenn retirement community where he was killed last week. we know now the man who died in prince george's apartment add woodbridge. firefighters were called to put a fire in an apartment in woodbridge monday night.

apartment, they found lynn dead. they're not saying how the man died, only that the cause of the death and fire are still under investigation. a memorial meant to mark the deadliest history is being brought to light. eight people were killed when two red lines collided. a memorial meant to honor the victims was never fully finished there. and now legacy memorial park has become overgrown with weeds and tall grass. and families are asking for changes. >> and they can start with lighting. just the bare minimum. they can't even put a flower bush out along the wall or something. it has enough there. there's enough property that there can be a lot more. >> this, as officials tell us, that the park will get a face-lift and upgrade in the next few days. for

northwest has been neglected. that's according to the attorney you now suing the owner. a lawsuit filed claims that tenants have been forced to live in deplorable conditions. the problems include bed bugs and vermin infestation, mold and no heat. attorneys for the building say the lawsuit is baseless and that the building has never been cited by the district. it also says that the owners want to rehabilitate the building but the residents don't want to move out. >> the paid bridge in norfolk has been a place for lovers to show their love for each other. the bridge is occupied with so-called love locks covered with the names of others. some people see it as an eyesore while others see beauty. >> i spent some time in paris. this just reminds me of paris. >> top

sunny upset to these cloudy days. that is the winner for sure. haven't been sniffling in the season quite as much. all of this is ready to change as the weather pattern, that area of low pressure off the coast driving us crazy and keeping us cool and wet. that thing is just about ready to take leave of the eastern seaboard. once it does, we will be sitting in sunshine tomorrow. temperatures are going to jump from the 50s the last few days into the 80s as we get into tomorrow afternoon. today is sort of a transition day. it's cloudy. still in the 50s here this morning. the clouds are thickest from washington eastbound to the bay and eastern shore. skies are already starting to clear out back towards the shenandoah valley and mountains of west virginia. a lot of cloud cover along 270 and 95. out towards luray. future weather carries a tin
