left behind after sunday's sexual assault. video shows the suspect in the glass walled elevator. it captured hispanic as he realizes police are arriving prompting him to leave again. >> two people at the front desk at all times and they are supposed to allow people in if they are guests of people living in the building. >> reporter: a resident says she has seen front desk staff buzz people into the security building without question. four months ago her boyfriend answered a knock at the door to encounter a stranger. >> somebody pushed him and he thought somebody lived there. i don't know if he was going off. >> reporter: the building security camera show the timeline. 8:34 the suspect is seen entering through the garage possibly following a car in. at 8:52 he is see

the rent was very low. >> reporter: things didn't add up for this $1,900 a month home in arlington. >> they wanted a security deposit as well as a first month's rent up front. i haven't seen the property. >> reporter: she drove by the house only to find a for sale sign out front so she called the number. >> it is a scam. it's not for rent. >> reporter: realtor says she wasn't the only person to reach out. that is how he discovered a scammer copied the details and changed the contact information and posted it on another site as a rental. >> the fact that they went through the trouble to use the actual last name of the previous owner with deceased mother as supposed owner i thought that was pretty ballsy. >> reporter: the greater capital area association of realtors have seen this scam pick up speed. the houses are almost always listed with below market rates.

ago. 64 cull pepper and 59 towards -- no rain in our immediate area but starting to track showers and thunderstorms. take a wider view. severe weather and tornado warning in southern virginia earlier today. you can see the storms here. we have a couple of storms firing up. heads up in that region. back to the west but tomorrow we'll be watching this complex right here. this moving right over the ridge and coming following these storms down towards our area by early tomorrow morning. it will be a rather wet day tomorrow. overnight tonight we have the clouds and we are still on the dry side with the exception of our southern areas. by around 9:00 here comes the rain in towards the d.c. metro area. periods of rain off and on all day. it won't be steady rain all day. when we see rain it will be coming down at pretty good clip.

zones here this is an area that could see stronger storms. that is an area we will watch, too. more rain on thursday night and it continues on friday and saturday. thursday 56 degrees at 7:00 a.m. we do not go up much at all. showers off and on all day. next couple of days, friday, 55 degrees. shower or drizzles at times. rain in the morning on saturday. temperature around 56 degrees. i think saturday will be very wet through about noon and may get heavy rain early saturday morning. sunday 73 degrees for mother's day. looking pretty good but a little bit on the windy side. next week we finally break this pattern and we do get into the 80s by next wednesday. that's a system to continue to watch. >> we would like a new pattern, please. coming up disappointing night in d.c. sports. we go to boston and back to verizon.

dream team died and the dream died. we heard the team is different, the year is different but the endings are the same. this one easily the biggest game mistakes and bad luck cursed the caps. the penguins with slick passing. penguins take a 1-0 lead. later in the period puck gets over to alex ovechkin. 29 saves for marc-andre fleury. more bad luck another turnover. the penguins turn into a goal. over to the backhander is all they needed. penguins shutout and eliminate them with the second straight season shutout and shamed at home.
