stronger sanctions. a scary crime on one of the busiest highways in our area. two women shot and killed on i-95. happened earlier this morning not far from richmond. one of the women was from manassas. she and one other woman were in the car with five other people. someone pulled up to them and started shooting. troopers believe someone targeted these women. they're asking the public for health. they say the suspect's vehicle was a newer model white four door sedan. more than two weeks that a virginia mother and her 8-month-old baby have been missing. they found the car but still no sign of keir johnson and her daughter khloe. they went missing on april 30th while they were heading to buck row beach. metro riders get one

8-year-old boy killed himself because he was bullied at school. surveillance video appears to show a student slamming gabriel kay into a wall knocking him unconscious. the boy killed himself two days later. the investigation into his death has been reopened. the school says it's not clear that bullying led to his suicide. a small central ohio community is coming together to mourn and remember the victims of friday's attack at a nursing home. yesterday people held a vigil for the police chief and two employees who were killed by a gunman. investigators say the shooter had been in a relationship with one of his victims. police say he was also found dead inside that nursing home. derek jeter is officially a yankee legend. the shortstop had his number 2 retired by the team last night. there he is. a big ceremony. he won five championships with the yankee. all-time leader in

5:37. let's go to angie goff at the live desk with an update on a fire in pittsburgh. angie? >> reporter: hi, aaron. since we last reported we have received a picture of that fire and right when it started. this is the 17th story high rise apartment building. where you see those flames surging out of the windows, that is believed to be the sixth floor where firefighters believe the fire began and then rapidly began to spread. we know there are hundreds of reports to evacuate. we have a big emergency response on the ground lining the streets right now. the good news is that the fire is under control.

and you go up and you see a lieutenant's cap. you see pictures of the fallen officers with family members, you see flowers here. among those area local names, ashleigh gwendon from prince william county. that officer shot and killed while working her first shift during a call to a domestic disturbance. she was just 28 years old. well known for what she did off the job as well donating her time to soup kitchens and to suicide prevention programs. we had a chance to recently speak to one of the officers who was on duty with her who says this impacts everyone on the force. >> you know, she was part of the police family and it affects everybody whether you knew them or not. that is a police officer. so definitely something i think about every day.

chopper 4 over the scene and you can now see this fatal crash. three people killed there overnight. we'll get a live report from the ground. what is closed this morning? here's what's closed likely through the morning rush. in bound suitland parkway between forestville road and suitland road. very bad scene. ultimate pennsylvania avenue, branch avenue, beltway to 295. everything looking pretty open. those routes there right now. that, of course, is going to change as things pick up blaire road closed between nicholson street and mcdonald place. zooming out, beltway looking quite good. other main routes into town and out of town, no big problems. eastbound 66 at 29th near centerville, still have the debris there in the roadway on the red line as well delays both ways there.
