whooping cough is highly contagious. symptoms can show up within five days to three weeks after someone has been exposed. we are days away from pool season. today montgomery county will consider a plan to cut back on life guards. they're looking at plans to allow hotel pools to get rid of life guards. the county has 36 hotels with poo pools. new legislation would allow hotels to post safety signs, allow swimmers to swim at their own risks and install an alert system. hotels would be required to have a cpr and first aid certified employee. >> you have to keep kids within reach. >> pool weather is coming up this week, right? we're going to hit 90 soon? >>

i don't forgive him. >> holland and another woman were shot and killed on sunday as they drove along i-95 in richmond. police believe that their car was targeted. and the family of a murdered prince george's county woman is pleading for police to find her body. turkessa paige's family says they just want to bring her home. her last moments alive were violent. her boyfriend, michael proctor, confessed to strangling her last month. paige's father says she was going to break up with him when she was killed. >> she never left. she wasn't able to leave so, i mean, to do that to somebody just because you don't want them to leave, you know, you don't have the right to do that to a person. >> now police say surveillance cameras show proctor taking paige's body out of the building in a gray bin. they believe he threw her body

skipped town. but first at 4:46, expect lawmakers on capitol hill to deal with new questions about president trump after that bombshell report in the washington post. >> that report claims president trump shared highly classified intelligence last week with russia's foreign minister and ambassador. news 4's tracie potts is live on capitol hill. tracie, if this report is true, could the president have broken any laws here? >> reporter: probably not. people may be surprised to hear that. even if the president revealed highly classified information to russian officials, he actually has the authority to do so. our intelligence officials and others tell us, legal experts tell us that the president and only the president can do that, but the question is not just whether it was legal or even ethical, it was whether it put the united states at risk. whether it creates a concern among our intelligence allies that when they give us

richard spencer. democrats rallied against plans to remove the statue of robert e. lee. a court injunction has stopped the removal for six months. chelsea manning made headlines for giving up sensitive documents to wikileaks. she'll be released tomorrow and maybe headed to our area. she will have served 7 years of a 35 sentence. former president barack obama granted her clemency. manning tweeted that she plans to return to maryland when she got out. it's not clear if that will still happen. angie goff at the live desk where we are learning that that massive cyber attack may be linked to north korea. security experts in south korea, google and semantic

korea. they say it's still too early to say conclusively who was exactly behind the attack. aaron. >> angie, thank you. 4:49. this morning there are renewed calls for safety changes to protect you and your family after a crash killed three people on suitland parkway. that happened on the intersection of suitland parkway and forestville word. aaa says stepped up speed enforcements might help reduce accidents there. unlike freeways, parkways have slower speeds. nearly 30 people were on the bus at the time. two were seriously hurt. state police say another driver cut off the bus. charges are being withheld until the investigation is complete.

now. the fairfax county fire department is now calling a man who lived in a lorton town house that caught fire last week a person of interest in that fire. his name is darryn hinsman and he was last seen the night before the fire. he may be traveling with donna may metro hins man and may be in texas or florida. the town home is a total loss. records show the house is under foreclosure. we're working to learn whether two volunteer firefighters from prince george's county will return to work after being acquitted of assault charges. christopher kelly was accused of attacking two colleagues at the scene of a house fire in hyattsville in 2015. prosecutors say they attacked two female career firefighters. the chief later described the incident as a turf battle. defense lawyers say this cell phone video tells a different story and shows the
