university of notre dame students walking out today in protest of the commencement speaker. vice president mike pence. some of the students said that they walked out the protest the trump administration's stance on immigration and lgbt rights. we have a report. >> reporter: vice president mike pence began the address to notre dame students, many protested with their feet. pence was invooited after thousands of students signed a petition asking the university not to invite president trump. during a speech, pence tried to draw parallel of the university and the trump administration. >> just as moteer dame stood for those persecuted for their faith around the world, just a short while ago in saudi arabia, this president spoke out about religious persecution of all people, of all faiths. >> reporter: the vice president attempts to find common ground did not sit well with protesters. angry over issues ranging from lgbt rights to

shocking video of a little girl dragged into the water by a sea lion. this is so hard to watch but want to let you know that the little girl is unhurt in all of this. she was sitting on a dock on canada's west coast yesterday when it happened. a quick thinking bystander that you saw there in the video drops in after her. he comes right up and the girl was later seen walking away with an adult and witnesses say that right before this happened, people were feeding bread crumbs to the sea lion. so, they think that something -- something may have happened there. sea lion got confused. thankfully, this little girl is okay. >> exactly right. happy ending there. >>

number one. fultz is expected to be the top in the draft and we caught up with him today coming off a stellar freshman year at the university of washington. he wowed fans all year with the skills and quickness on the court. a self described gym rat, how about the no-look half-court shot? incredible. he was cut from varsity as a sophomore and in four years he turned himself into a bona fide star and wasn't easy but it was earned. >> a lot of hard work. a lot of belief in myself. a lot of praying. a lot of motivation from my mom and at the end of day came down to me getting in the gym every day. multiple hours. it's so many hours in the gym and i got an opportunity to showcase my talent which i'm blessed to have. a beautiful, beautiful thing to happen. >> to cge
