alt-reich nation. that's what the fbi said the investigation on these types of matters will kick in. here's what we know happened saturday here on the university of maryland campus. richard collins iii was with friends waiting for an uber when police say he was attacked, completely unprovoked. >> he was yelling. in fact, perhaps screaming is one description and then he said to the victim, step left, step left if you know what's good for you. the victim looked at him puzzled with the other friends of his and said no. it was then that shawn urbansky stabbed the victim in his chest. >> reporter: now richard collins iii, the victim here, just 23 years old. his family was set to see him graduate from bowie state

university tomorrow. now that family will have to look forward to a vigil that's set for later today. as for urbansky, he is being held without bond. >> thank you, molette. news 4 went to the neighborhood where shawn urbansky lived. they said the charges are incomprehensible. she told them, quote, not in the realm of possibility. we talked to students who are concerned about how something like this could happen on their campus. >> everyone is just a little bit scared, i think, because like i said, this doesn't really happen at least while i've been on campus. people are concerned about what's going to happen, what precautions we have to use. >> the university of maryland police chief urged them that there is a way

the water main break has been fixed, new line in place, the next stop is lying down new blacktop. let's give you a sense of where we r nare now, 4500 block. d.c. water crews have been working on this line break, as you mentioned, since last wednesday, which happens to have broken along a main artery for drivers in our area and complicating repairs here. that line has to come in from the state of alabama. this was a 30 inch water main that dates back to 1860 which is precivil war which did not make fixing this area all the much easier here. we still have a closed roadway on macarthur. this could reopen as soon as early next week

an ongoing neighborhood dispute ends in tragedy. spotsylvania county sheriff's deputies arrested and charged larry johnson with first degree murder. he's accuse the of shooting his 65-year-old neighbor. the victim apparently had a landscaping crew on scene when he was shot. deputies found the victim lying in his driveway. johnson was arrested at his house. a 104-year-old woman died after a fire broke out in her house. two people were able to get out safely but an elderly woman was found in her bed. >> the red cross is still hoping to see the fire. alexandria is moving forward with plans. they approved for the new crew to come up with a
