manchester where three more arrests have justin made in connection with an explosion after an ariana grande concert. the prime minister is warning another attack could be imminent. >> britain's terror threat level has been raised to highest category. we just learned the uk's parliament is on heightened security as well. no visitors are allowed in at this point. intelligence agencies still working to figure out if the suicide bomber was working alone. we don't know much about the newest people taken into custody. but this happened in raids in the same part of manchester where the accused's suicide bomber's brother was arrested yesterday. police are trying to figure out if salman abedi acted alone. we've also learned that a man from prince george's county was inside the arena. aaron spears is ariana grande's drummer. >> he heard that blast. and in an interview exclusively as we interviewed his

news4's justin finch is live at the embassy in northwest washington with more on his story. jutten. >> reporter: good morning, kenneth spears called it the worst kind of nightmare. the fear that this son could have been hurt or worse in that manchester attack. as you mentioned, his son is a drummer. he was on stage because he's in ariana grande's band. taking you to video that we have. he lives in prince george's county. his son aaron called him immediately to say he was okay. arianna and the band had just walked off the stage when that bomb blast went off. aaron said on instagram that he and his band mates are devastated. now that young lives have been lost and families have been wrecked by his tragedy. back in prince george's county, his father kenneth says that he's relieved. >> high heart just jumped. oh, my goodness. the worst kind of nightmare. he

campaign. a stafford man faces up to ten years in prison for stealing nearly $100,000 worth of equipment used in the marine one helicopter fleet. that is the fleet that transports the president. branden baker pled guilty yesterday in federal court. he said he stole more than 50 image intensifiers. and night vision equipment from marine helicopter squadron one and sold it on ebay. the plea agreement also requires him to pay $94,000 in restitution. archaeologists are trying to identify human remains found in old town alexandria during a development on the water front. it dates back to the 1800s. crews also found evidence of dwellings that were once there. the since the city has kept such good historic records, it's a good possibility those remains can be identified. >> the story of d.c.'s missing children alarmed a lot of people in the area

fellow second lieutenant proceed to the stage to receive lieutenant collins' degree. >> we saw collins' father there, a military veteran himself, excepting his son's degree. he was on the minds of his classmates and the entire community throughout the ceremony. >> we abhor hatred and violence. and we mourn the life of a bright young life that had so much promise. >> arena was packed but one share sat empty in tribute to collins to honor the achievement he didn't live to celebrate. making it even harder, the ceremony was actually held at the university of maryland, not far from where collins was attacked. the suspect, the college student, now being held for that without bond. >> thank you. kids

not be as safe as you think. the virginia department of education said several thousand school buses are missing a brake innerlock. that is a device that prevents parking brakes from slipping loose. it's not clear exactly which buses are affected. a notice about that problem went out to all of the school districts in the commonwealth. this has not caused any accidents. bus mfanufacturers say they wil install new innerlocks for free. this morning, we have the reason you need to hit the roads early this holiday weekend. 1 million people across this metro region are traveling. the highest number expected to travel in 12 years. if you're hitting the roads, check the forecast. timing is everything here. you probably have to leave before 10:00 or 11:00 in the morning to wait for the big time traffic. if it's saturday, you'll have to wait even earlier than that. you've been warned. 6:15. we're now just days away from the long

more people planning to pack up and leave town this year. >> aaa predicts more than 39 million people will travel between thursday and monday with a lot of you heading to the beach. news4's adam tuss took to chopper 4. >> reporter: just a couple days before we hit the roads or the airport, wherever you're going for memorial day, maybe you're just staying put, that may be the best advice because, hey, take a look here. it may get real busy at the bay bridge. this weekend, things are going to get really busy here as we start picking up traffic on both spans of the bay bridge. where traffic gets really heavy here on the eastbound, we'll actually open up another lane and get two-way traffic on the westbound span of the bay bridge to keep things going. that's your best indication that traffic is really heavy. taking another look at the beautiful bay

lines but they haven't been here in northern virginia on the silver line. a lot of riders are wondering, what, this is metro's newest rail line, how come we don't have the newest cars. take a look at the shiny 7000 series and why. this makes such a big difference. these railcars are not only more reliable, they're not supposed to break down as often. but they're also more durable, they're more crash-worthy in accident of an accident, god forbid that happens. all cars are eight-cars long. here on the silver line they've only been running shorter six-car trains since the rail opened in 2014. riders are going to get a better ride. a smoother ride, a more comfortable ride. and they're going to get a more reliable and predictable trip. june 25th, you'll expect to see the new silver line train here on the silver line. that's going to be a big change

>> reporter: good morning, eun. kenneth spears says he feels blessed to know his son aaron is okay but his heart goes out to the families and loved ones of those manchester victims and survivors. all the way to prince george's county, spears said he got the call from his son aaron that he is okay. aaron is a drummer for ariana grande's band. he also said he was just leaving the scene with ariana and the band when that blast occurred. on instagram aaron says even more, he says he's devastated by the loss of life there. he heard the panic of the crowd in trying to run for their lives. and he's also impressed here that some of the dead appear to be young fans of ariana, and back at home, his father said he's looking forward to seeing his son again. >> my heart just
