they say they are deeply appalled by how our reporter was treated in the course of doing his job as a journalist. time is 5:05. now your investigation into the deadly bombing in manchester, england. two more people arrested with monday's attack that killed 22 people. so far 8 people have been arrested including two of the suspect's brothers and father. also this morning more evidence that the 22 bomber was part of a wider terror network. they say he used a sophisticated backpack bomb. new security pictures show him carrying that backpack. explosive is the same kind of bomb he used in the deadly attack in paris and brussels. right now president trump is in brussels meeting with the leadership of the european union, but he could be in the middle of a tense

stop budget cuts. there are growing concerns. a big controversy in prince george's county as leaders work to approve the county budget. the proposed budget for schools is $90 million less than the school board's plan. teachers protested. they're worried about losing funding for the student breakfast program and a new pilot program for students who had disciplinary problems. raises are already on the line. >> i've seen my colleagues and get more money. >> i've seen a lot of changes come through the system but this is probably the worst. >> the teacher's union president questioned how the district can keep teachers are looking for. and as the student and

saturday. two people have been arrested for stealing his car and using his credit cards. the thief is still missing. a mother on the verge of deportation hopes a pardon by virginia governor terry mccall live. she was arrested for driving without a license and she was turned over to ic e. >> they're focusing on criminal aliens, as they call them, immigrants of criminal conviction and then we see that they paint people like lilliali. >> a spokeswoman for ic e. says ms. cruise mendez can be deported even without any criminal convictions. she came

and was arrested by border patrol agents. she received two deferrals. officers are looking into what's called the gulf war syndrome. symptoms may include joint pain, trouble with mood, cognition or a lot of fatigue. while the symptoms are known, the cause remains a mystery. >> we're even looking for people that went to the gulf war in 1990, 1991 and don't have any symptoms. we're trying to see what's different about them. what reaction or change in their blood is different from those that actually have the syndrome. >> according to the national academy of sciences 250,000 soldiers suffer from this. today we will get an idea how many hurricanes might hit the united states this season. this is important if you know anyone down in those high-risk areas along the t.

>> we have how this will impact you and your family. darcy? >> reporter: good morning. yeah. we're here at high point high school in the beltsville area. this is a school where there was a protest yesterday. the proposed budget for the county has a 2% increase in education spending but that's 90 million fewer dollars than what the school board has asked for. critics are calling that a huge budget cut. one of the items on the chopping block is a program meant be for students with disciplinary problems. students are saying it's programs like that helping to increase the graduation rate. >> i've seen my colleagues leave and go to other counties because they can make more money in other counties. >> reporter: that budget is expected to be voted on lat
