hand held trigger. british officials are said to be furious about the leaked photos. they accuse u.s. officials of hampering the investigation. the u.s. says the british security services failed to pick up clues about the bomber before the attack, and that he should not have been on the streets. the bomber was known to british authorities as a possible extremist, and two of his brothers have now been arrested including one in libya, allegedly for plotting an isis attack there. u.s. and british authorities believe abedi was part of a wider network and fear that the bomb maker may still be at large. the british prime minister is expected to raise the issue of the leaks with president trump at a nay koe meeting in brussels later today. sending a message that intelligence shared between the law enforcement agencies must remain secure. back to you. >> richard at the bombing site. thank you.

rumsfeld has served in the administrations of four presidents. he was chief of staff, defense secretary twice. good morning. now we've given your resume. nice to have you here. let's start with what we were talking about before, the british are reportedly furious with the u.s. for leaking information about the bombing in the terror investigation. how concerning is that? if it's a major ally at the u.s. feels it can't share information with the u.s.? >> well, that was just a report. i don't know precisely with the uk is thinking about all of this, but obviously intelligence is not to be shared outside of close allieallies, and on the o hand the president makes decisions all the time, and has the ability to declassify information, and i think it is just a matter of sorting through what's taking place. i was ambassador to nato about 40 years

countries, they do have interests, and they do share a great deal of intelligence, and it is important that it be handled carefully. >> one of the most talked about instances with sharing intelligence with russia was when president trump shared sensitive information we got from the israelis about isis with russian officials. there's another conversation he had not long ago with the president of the philippines where he said to him, i've got two nuclear submarines off the korean peninsula. as a former defense secretary, is that the kind of information you want to be sharing with others around the world? >> there are times you don't want to share that kind of information, and there are times you do. where as a deterrent, you consciously let people know where your capabilities are, because most countries don't have the ability to know where our nuclear subs or aircraft carriers are, and what we do on occasion is to purposely let

won by 21 points. getting attention for all the wrong reasons now. and the candidate's democratic opponent only said he thinks this is a law enforcement issue, not a political one, but he may be the only person who feels that way. overnight three local newspapers here rescinded their endorsements of the candidate and the vice chairman of the dnc called on him to drop out of the race saying he's not fit to represent montana. guys, this special election today is to fill the seat left by ryan zinke. >> it was already closely watched. more so now. thank you. there's new debate over the republican's revised health care bill in the wake of the latest analysis from the nonpartisan congressional budget office. it shows the measure would greatly increase the number of uninsured in this country. pete a

that rolled out more widely. this morning we're hearing from the father of a little girl who was grabbed by a sea lion and pulled into the water. we learned she's receiving treatment for a rare bacterial infection. just days after this heart stopping video of a little girl getting dragged into the ocean by a sea lion went viral, the father of that young girl is now speaking out. defending his family against accusations that they provoked the incident by feeding the animal. there was somebody beside them trying to feed them. also, they weren't trying to take pictures or anything. last weekend the girl's family and onlookers watched in horror as a 700 pound sea lion yaked yarng yanked the girl into the water. the family now

the news. not using their names to protect the family. he credits the rescue to the grandfather who pulled her to safety. if he had one or two second doubt about that, my girl could have been gone. that reaction makes him a hero. days later the aquarium urged the girl's family to get her help because she was possibly in danger of a hazardous infection known as sale finger. her parents brought her in for treatment. the harbor master said it's a warning to never feed animals. >> stupid di on part of the adults. not only do you let your family feed a wild animal, but they let their little girl sit on the dock with her dress hanging over. >> reporter: the father admits it and said that's the lesson she took. and she's taken it in a hard way. only
