this is in, we understand, the 9700 block of picket lane in manassas, a townhome community. near osborn high school. one person was shot there at least one time and has been airlifted to the hospital in critical condition. we know it happened around 3:00 p.m. this afternoon. no word on a suspect in this case or how many others may be involved here. so we'll keep on top of that story, as soon as we get new details in here, we'll deliver them to you throughout the hour, but right now, we're watching this situation break in manassas. >> have to hope for the best for the person who was shot. a lot of you use zillow.com to estimate how much your home is worth, but how accurate is it? some realtors say the estimates are way too high. now one homeowner is suing the site on grounds that its estimate prevented her from

selling. jo ling kent is here to break it down. how does it work? >> the zestimate is really popular. you've probably come across it without even realizing it. you google an address and there it is. the zestimate, according to stwril zillow is a collection of public data, public records, your previous home sale price, and all kinds of things that go into an algorithm with a secret sauce. it incorporates data points provided by users. so it's a zestimate that a lot of homeowners don't agree with, especially when it comes to selling their home. and a class action lawsuit has been filed in the state of illinois about that very fact. a lots of homeowners and developers say they're being underestimated when it comes to their price and zillow is unfairly violating consumer protection laws and perhaps assigning an appraisal when it's not really an appraisal. so that's what's happening on th z
