storm team meteorologist is standing by with a look at how the weather could be changing. >> we're going to be seeing that next round of showers move through. this morning we started off fairly okay. 10:52 a.m., we had some sunshine and the clouds moved in. the showers came in after that. we got a good amount of rain this afternoon. looking at the radar you'll notice we're in a lull. this is the quiet time frame for us. the next round of showers are getting ready to move in. we're going to be seeing that push in from the west. let's get a check of that radar. there it is. the district right now quiet but as we pull out show the bigger picture, you're actually going to get the bigger story. here is a look president showers back toward the blue ridge now. really close to winchester. they will be pulling into the district over the next couple of hours. if you're headed out this evening i want you to have the umbrellas on hand as we're expecting some showers to patch

we're going to talk more about your memorial day forecast. now back to you. the rain was in the skies. thunder was on the ground today. likely you heard the roars of the motorcycles. thousands of them crossed the memorial bridge and onto thunder alley. news 4 spoke with the bikers about this tribute to our veterans and those still missing in action. >> reporter: it's probably the most iconic right turn in the city, at least on memorial day weekend. it's part of the demonstration that is rolling thunder. the 30th annual ride has the same theme as first. >> too many guys that haven't come home. we need to bring them home. >> reporter: there's estimated more than 80,000 u.s. personnel unaccounted for from world war i to the present. >> we have people miss frg iraq. >> reporter: the aim is to keep it all top of mind from politician to the people. that's how it with vince and his family. >> my dad is on the wall. i make it a point to come

boys and the sheriff deputy who tried to intervene. >> this all began with an argument between the man's e stranged wife over their children. >> i just wanted to live. >> authorities say an argument between a man and his estranged wife over their children ended in under gunfire. >> i ain't fit to live. not after what i've done. >> about 70 miles south of jackson. when the deputy arrived he was shot and kill bed by a male subject who killed three women at the home and drove to two more homes and killed four more people. he was identified as 35-year-old willie corey. >> i was having a conversation with her step dad and mom and her, my wife about me taking my children home and somebody called the officer. >> moments later he revealed his motive. >>

a small group of people gathered outside the offices of white nationalist richard spencer. he's the man who coined the term alt-right. the protest comes after someone posted hate fill flyers in the neighborhood. it's been described as a mix of racist and anti-immigration views. one protester said this is about teaching our children to take a stand against hate. >> i would like to believe that some
