critical condition for months after surgery to remove a benign brain tumor. noriega a former cia spy and convicted cocaine trafficker ruled panama from 1983 to 1989. he spied for the cia before the u.s. invaded and ousted him in 1989. toppling his regime and ending his drug career. he was sentenced to 40 years in prison by the u.s. in 1992. and was also convicted by france beforening extradited back to panama. authorities had granted him house arrest to undergo the brain operation. norry aia ged at 83. >> a bombing in central baghdad. a car bomb detonated killing at least 13 and wounding 24 more. the attack happened after midnight local time. the militant group isis is claiming responsibility. at home the u.s. military identified the

for a vigil marking one week since 22 people were killed. a moment of silence was held after 10:30 local time, the exact moment the bomb went off. slides at a water park in california remain closed as safety officials investigate a horrifying incident when a 10-year-old boy flew off the side of one of the slides. it happened minutes after the park's grand opening. miguel almaguer has more. >> reporter: plunging three stories down the 10-year-old rofkts over the side of the slide. incredibly the boy is able to walk away with minor injuries. >> i thought he was dead at first because he hit the ground pretty hard. you hear it. >> reporter: safety officials inspecting the slide at the wave, a new $43 million water park opened for just 90 minutes before the accident. >> hopefully they will take steps to put something in place
