coming out of afghanistan. it's breaking news. there's chaos in kabul as a powerful explosion rocks one of the most heavily guarded areas of that country's capital city. richard engel has the latest on all this. richard, good morning. what can you tell us? >> good morning. this is one of the worst bombings there have been in afghanistan recently. the death toll according to afghan officials is at 350 people injured. the death toll has been going up all morning. the taliban denied responsibility and quickly came out and said it wasn't responsible for the attack which would make isis the most likely suspect. the bomb exploded at a strategic juncture at the heart of international efforts to support the afghan government. first responders were quick to arrive. this is supposed to be the mo

detonated by the gate of the german beside. the american embassy is just a few blocks away. so is an entrance to a fortified military base that is the head quarters for american and nato troops. the blast went off around 8:30 a.m. just as embassy and base employees mostly afghans were heading to work. the trump administration is struggling to come up with a new policy for afghanistan. the country is more unstable than it's been in years, and bombing alone isn't fixing it. after recently dropping the so-called mother of all bombs on what the u.s. military called an isis tunnel network, u.s. officials say u.s. is considering sending up to 5,000 more troops. that would bring the number of 10,000 troops fighting a

7:40, now, on this wednesday 7:407b8 wednesday morning. we're back with what we're learning about tiger woods. >> the police report is now out painting a clearer picture of what officers found that night. kerry sanders has the latest on this. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. when tiger woods was arrested, police had a dash mounted camera recording. that recording will be released later today. it may best explain the condition tiger woods was in as he sat behind the steering wheel of his car. this morning it's clear from police reports when officers pulled up on tiger woods at 2:03:00 a.m. monday, he was out of it.

found woods asleep behind the wheel of his car. the car still running. the golfing legend appearing to nod off twice while being interviewed. both rims on the driver's side of the vehicle are damaged according to police and both tires on the driver's side are flat. officers say woods was cooperative, confused. his speech extremely slow and slurred. mumbled, confused. asked if he understood the direction to recite the alphabet as part of a sobriety test, police say he responded yes, recite the national anthem backwards? eventually he did get the alp alphabet part right. no alcohol in his system. that supports what he said in his written statement. alcohol was not involved. what happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. police say woods identified four medications he used including the

performance schedule with planned stops in the u.s. and canada. the tour is on hold as she deals with her cancer relapse. olivia newton-john announced to the world the breast cancer has returned. last month olivia newton-john cancelled the first leg of her concert tour due to what she thought was a sciatic flairup. but it was revealed that the back pain she had been suffering was, in fact, breast cancer that was in the sacrum. >> it's estimated that roughly 20 % to 30% of breast cancers will recur. the most common places for it to go are the bone, liver, lung, and brain. if the cancer does metastasize to the spine, it can present with low back pain. ♪
