president lobbying for him to remain in this deal including his daughter ivanka, son-in-law jared and members of his add min triggs, his cabinet. on the other side others close to the president including steve bannon want him to dump this deal. elon musk part of his advisory council says he will walk out if the president walks out on the climate deal. what do the american people think? according to our nbc "wall street journal" poll the latest one, 67%, over two thirds of the country, say immediate or some action is needed to deal with climate change. now, here on capitol hill there are nearly two dozen senators who are urging the president to get out of this deal, on the other hand, there are more than two dozen major companies and we'll see some of them advertising today, who are telling the president to stick with the deal. so as i

with a report alleging the trump white house is looking to give russia back its compounds in maryland and new york. russian officials were ousted from those compounds by the obama administration in late december in a direct response to moscow's interference in the 2016 election. it isn't clear what the u.s. would get in return for the move. and while the state department says the u.s. and russia have reached no agreements, the post report comes a week after the official twitter account of the russian embassy demanded two compounds be returned, quote, asas, other wise they threatened we'll have to take counter measures. 80 people are dead and 465 injured, the toll in the deadly suicide bombing in kabul, one of the worst in the city. the blast happened during the morning rush hour on wednesday in a highly secure area of the city near several embassies. a spokesperson confirmed the casualties and said most killed were civilians. among the wounded 11 american

our nbc washington app. back to you, aaron. >> molette, thank you. now to this new video we got in overnight showing a car that slammed into a building. the crash happened around 9:00 last night on massachusetts avenue near tenth street in northwest d.c. nobody was hurt and no word on what caused that accident. this morning the smithsonian secretary is calling it a cowardly act. the statement comes after a noose was found hanging inside the national museum of african-american history and culture. tourists found the noose yesterday inside the museum's exhibit on segregation. police removed it and shut down the gallery for about an hour. visitors are upset that someone would do something like this. >> sad. very sad. in this day and age this is happening. >> we don't let acts of cowardess like this deter us. we are, if anything, even more vigilant. >> the museum would not say whether security

left. this is not the first time this has popped up. on april 27th a noose was found happening inside the kitchen of the university of maryland. four days later bananas tied to posts were on the campus. it's the same day as the first black student took over as president. then on may 11th, 2017, a teacher found a noose hanging from a light fixture at a middle school in an arundle county. two men were arrested and charged with hate crimes. then last friday a noose was found near the smithsonian. no one has been arrested.
