and checked into the trump hotel. court documents say moles wanted to meet trump and his goal was to, quote, bring down big pharmacy and big business medicine. the judge said moles suffers from ptsd and he had no legal basis to hold the man. there was a security scare at the white house last night. a man was taken to the hospital and charged with a felony once he's released. let's go back to molette green at the live desk with breaking news from the white house. now let? >> reporter: the trump administration taking its travel ban to the supreme court. they want it fast tracked so it can started enforcing the executive order while it appeals the case. now trump's order imposes a 90 day ban on entry into the u.s. from about 600. it

>> the congresswoman calling on the president to condemn the death of richard collins 3rd, the bowie statement killed. she wants attorney general jeff sessions to probe deeper into this noose incident. back to you. >> justin finch live outside the national museum of african-american culture and history. 5:07. two people in the hospital. one of them in serious condition after this crash on the intercounty connector near layhill road. the crash happened just before 9:30 last night. you can see a tractor-trailer on its side. it collided with a car causing that car to go up in flames. chopper 4 also flew over the scene of a fatal crash in virgin yeah they say a 45-year-old man was killed while riding his motorcycle south on telegraph road. his name was thomas jeffrey duty iv. his

went on to a sidewalk and hit the wall. it is 5:08. we have breaking news from the filly peensz. >> reporter: following tragic events at a casino in the philippines. police say most of the people who died suffocated in that thick smoke that was inside. they say a man with a gun went into the casino, started firing. he didn't actually shoot any people. instead he lit tables on fire. police are you now looking for a second person of interest but they don't believe this was an act of terror. molette, thank you. we have a traffic alert to tell you that will impact your drive over the weekend. starting tonight three lanes along rockville pike will close near the metro station and national institutes of health. at 10:00 p.m. crews will shut down the two southbound lanes and the

between woodmont avenue and center drive. those lanes will stay closed between 5:00 a.m. and until monday. metro has repairs to make from august 5th through the 20th the branch avenue and suitland stations will be closed on the green line. red line station tacoma will close from november 25th to december 10th. next year the huntington and eisenhower stations will be closed on the yellow line for two weeks in may. we'll cover all of these closures for you of course throughout the year. there is a new scripps national spelling bee champion this morning. >> marocain. >> she knows what it means. >> marocain. >> that is correct. >> congratulations. >> how about that. >> she's not phased at all. >> no.

local hotel under guard. take a look at this video here. here's brian moles leaving d.c. superior court. yesterday a judge saying he saw no legal basis to hold him prior to a federal court appearance which is happening later on this afternoon. court documents say that moles came to d.c. because he wanted to meet with president trump. his goal, to bring down big pharmacy and big medicine. police got a tip that he had guns and ammunition. he is facing guns and ammunition charges. he is due in federal court later on this afternoon. back to you guys. >> megan, court documents show that moles recently drained his bank account. do we know anymore about that? >> yeah, that's right. he drained a bank account of $10,000 but he did leave 4:19 in that account. those digits 4/19 significant because that's the date of the

we're seeing more new video of tiger woods' dui arrest. this time inside the station. standing in a cell handcuffed and barefoot. woods was slurring his words and at times seemed to falla sleep. he was arrested on monday in florida after officers found him asleep at the wheel of his car. woods did not have any alcohol in his system and told police he had an unexpected reaction to prescription drugs. in news 4 your health this morning, after nearly 400 people got sick, the centers for disease control is investigating eight different salmonella outbreaks in 47 states. the cdc blames this on backyard chickens. no deaths have been reported, but 71 people were sick enough to be put in the hospital. most patients have been in contact with live poultry the week before they
