outcome of your case today? >> do you have a moment? >> pennsylvania doctor brian molz preparing for another day in court. >> this time he will be answering to a federal court judge. news 4's megan mcgrath is live outside of the trump hotel where he was arrested this week. megan has more on this case. good morning. >> reporter: well, good morning. brian molz stayed in a local hotel last night under guard. he is no longer in police custody. take a look at this video. here he is leaving d.c. superior court yesterday. the judge said he saw no reason to hold molz before a federal hearing. the judge did express concerns about molz and the safety of others. he suffers from ptsd. he's a veteran and an e.r. doctor and he'

with marijuana. molz was ordered to stay away from the trump international hotel as well as the white house. according to court documents, brian molz came to washington to talk to president trump. his goal was to bring down big pharmacy and big medicine. the pennsylvania doctor allegedly left a voicemail for a friend saying that he was heading to d.c. with a car full of ammunition, survival supplies and batteries. there was a tip given to police. that's how they knew about his whereabouts. again, he is due before a judge again today this time in federal court. back to you guys. >> megan mcgrath outside of the trump hotel. thank you. there was another security scare at the white house last night after seeing a man pace back and forth, secret service approached him. that's when the man attempted to hit the officer and grab his baton. as a precaution he was taken to the hospital. he will be charged with a felony once he's released. it's now 6:04.

death of a veteran from northeast d.c. news 4 i-team reported last night the feds are looking into whether that deceased man went undiscovered for two days in the parking lot of a d.c. va center. scott mcfarland has the story. >> reporter: his family said the military veteran never returned home from a treatment session two weeks ago on monday at the d.c. va center. they called the center to get help and get a search for the man. 36 hours no one found him until his sister drove to the medical center, searched the parking lot and herself found the man's body in his car in that parking lot just outside the entrance. the man's death was confirmed by a police report and multiple sources speaking with the news 4 i-team. the new head said the agency there is investigating what might have went wrong. >> we met with the veteran's
