right now, our very first look at the men behind the london attacks. cellphone video catches them marching past a bar.

protesters clashed in portland, oregon. what has them so fired up. we have an opportunity to show solidarity and love over everything that is wicked, evil, and unjust. >> determined to stand up to hate. police in london now rounding up associates of the three men suspected of carrying out the deadly terror attack last night. now we're getting our first look at new cellphone video that shows the killers. nbc's richard engel recounts the agonizing eight minutes that left seven people dead. >> reporter: just before 10:00 p.m., a van began to speed across london bridge, jumping on and off the curb, swerving into pedestrians. coming to a halt on a street filled with bars and restaurants.

>> i thought it was a car crash, an accident. >> reporter: this group of lithuanian londoners out for a birthday celebration then saw three men jump out of the van that nearly hit them, armed with knives. >> i think the bar manager. >> he stepped in front of you? >> yes. >> reporter: this cellphone footage shows the men walking calmly through the market, looking for their next victims. >> i managed to run away from him. >> he was running after you? >> yeah, yeah. >> reporter: s.w.a.t. teams arrived quickly and in force, ordering bargoers to get down. within minutes, all three suspects were killed by armed officers. the vests the attackers were wearing, which looked like suicide bombs, turned out to be fake.

emotional ariana grande paying tribute to the victims of last month's attack in manchester. pop stars like justin bieber and katy perry joined her onstage for an outdoor concert last night. ticket sales and donations raised tonight went to victims and their families. elsewhere, chaos developing tonight as pro-trump and anti-trump demonstrators clashed in portland, oregon. at least 14 people have been arrested. officers say a group of anti-trump protesters threw bricks at police. we're told trump supporters organized a free speech rally. counterdemonstrators got word and organized at least four opposing groups. >> we're not here to invite any opposition. they come here and they can just go have their own

do they have to bother us? >> this is my country! i'm native american, this is our land! >> as you can see, people got heated. police say the groups got along peacefully until later in the afternoon. closer to home, in prince georges county, a man riding a stolen motorcycle has died after being hit by a car full of teenagers. the crash happened saturday near route 202 in upper malborrow. state police say the vehicle tried to make a left turn and they hit the motorcycle. the teens are all okay. the biker, michael davis, was killed. police say the sports bike he was on was stolen from howard county. >> announcer: and now your storm team 4 forecast. it was a great day out there today. temperatures into the 80s. a lot of the area almost around 90 degrees. we had sunny skies, a good

a nice little breeze, holding out a chance to enjoy. a lot of rain in the forecast, a lot of it possible in our area, especially to the south. that's something we're going to continue to watch over the next couple of days. but we are going to catch some rain in the region. over i would say tonight and also tomorrow and also into tuesday and wednesday. again, we are wedged between two systems. our warm front to the north and an area of low pressure to the south. another area of low pressure will move into our region. that's going to bring some humidity. if you step outside right now, you may notice the humidity. the humidity increasing, the clouds increasing, rain chances increase through the day tomorrow. and a lot for the beginning of the workweek. we'll time it out for you coming up in a few minutes. standing in solidarity and marching against images of hate that are meant to divide and intimidate. people of all co

from different churches attended this rally against recent incidents involving nooses at museums and schools in our area. the group bringing a message of love and refusing to let hatred divide their community. they marched to a home in southwest d.c. where a noose was discovered on thursday, right across the street from an elementary school. >> we come praying not only for the house where the noose was hung but for the ground on which we stand. we refuse to allow hate to filter itself into the soil of hillcrest of washington, d.c. >> d.c. police chief peter newsham attended the vigil. he says the department is doing everything they can to find the people responsible. in maryland now, police say a man crashed, kept driving, and was just more than a mile away from his home when he died. officers in howard county found james clements

new tonight, an elected d.c. leader says he plans to file a complaint against the city's police department. kendall simmons says he didn't do anything wrong, but an officer put him in handcuffs and even forced him to the ground friday night. news4's darcy spencer has the story and the response from police. >> relax. night. he says police officers roughed him after after stopping him for no apparent reason. >> they asked me do i have any weapons on me. i told them no. >> reporter: then he says things escalated. >> i tried to walk away. the officer grabbed me and slapped me to my head. >> reporter: simmons says he suffered a minor concussion, scrapes and bruises. he was released with no charges filed. they didn't find anything in the search. >> i do not know still to this day what i was being detained for. you know, i just don't know. i'm confused and i'm scared. >> i'm a commissioner of the neighborhood! >> reporter: this man says he saw it happened. >> kendall walked up and the police jumped out and was telling him, stop resisting. he never did anything. he was just walking up the street. >> reporter: this is simmons in january, sworn in as the elected anc advisory neighborhood commissioner. he says he works with youth in the community every

of my family, friends. you know, my mother, my niece, my nephew. >> reporter: d.c. police told news4 the incident is being investigated and they're reviewing footage from police body cameras. the officers involved are not facing disciplinary action. in southeast, darcy spencer, news4. d.c. mayor muriel bowser is going to follow the paris climate coordinate evaccord eve president trump pulled out of the deal. call this little guy determined. one little boy climbed into one of those claw arcade games at a hotel last night in hartford county, maryland. the problem was he couldn't get out. we're told he was stuck inside for 30 minutes until the machine's owner could get the key to the game and get the boy out. but he's okay.

where we got our first look today at the site of a big development deal. another part of wheaton will soon be filled with stores, office offices, and a park. this is the corner of grandview avenue and reedy drive. >> i like coming to groundbreaking ceremonies. we're not finished until we have a ribbon cutting ceremony. we will have a ribbon cutting ceremony. >> we're told this project should be done by 2020. the nation's oldest registered golf course for african-american women is right here in our area and reached a major milestone. the wake-robin golf club is celebrating its 80th anniversary. the club was founded in 1937. the mission is to encourage african-american women to take up golf. the group provides scholarships to college-bound minority students who have

themselves in golf, academics, and community involved. carol talks to a 99-year-old member there who has been in the club since the 1940s. she shows us how they're passing on the tradition to a new investigation, tomorrow on news for hnews4 at 5:00 with carol maloney. today's weather was perfect. can we get any better than this? >> maybe by the end of the next workweek, leon, we can get a little bit better. man, it was gorgeous today. unfortunately we've got rain in the forecast. it's not farwe away from us rig now. we've got rain to the north and rain to the south. we're wedged in between two systems. boy did we make out like a bandit today. humidity is moving in. when i came back inside for the 11:00 show, you could already feel that mugginess seeping in the air right now. that's only going to increase. you're definitelyoi

a little of the humidity. we've gone rain showers on monday, the heaviest rain will be to the south. we have rain chances at least until wednesday. i'm not convinced that thursday will be dry. current temperatures right now in the 70s. out in the shenandoah valley, down to the 60s. but it is a great evening out there. when you wake up tomorrow morning, temperatures will be right around 70 degrees. we're going to have some rain showers. but tune into chuck and sheena tomorrow morning, because they're mainly going to be south. south of i-66 in virginia, south of route 50 in maryland. closer to central virginia you are, the better chance you'll have to see heavy rain tomorrow morning. then it's going to start to creep to the north. we could have a few showers around the d.c. area and points north tomorrow morning. but again, the heaviest rain is going to stay south. right now we're clear. you can see maybe a few sprinkles trying to pass south over the mason-dixon line over pennsylvania. there's a warm front right there. we

maryland. but this is our next system. the upper level low is going to be moving out of tennessee and right into our area. it's bringing a lot of moisture with it. so it's bringing a lot of that moisture from the gulf of mexico, the humidity. we are talking about some heavy rain rates. again, that is really going to he set up fredericksburg and areas to the south. this rain is going to be filling in during the overnight and edging towards our area, towards daybreak tomorrow. 5:00 a.m., we're looking good tomorrow morning. but then we start to see that rain creeping in as we head through that morning commute. again, a few light scattered showers here. but the heaviest rain staying south of i-66. then as we head through the mid-morning, it starts to fill in. we could even have a few thunderstorms tomorrow. by the afternoon, everybody will start to see some showers. by the evening commute, definitely going to be a little on the wet side. temperatures in the upper 70s for daytime highs tomorrow. it will be muggy. heaviest rain stays to the south. with maybe an ite

thunderstorm or two. then that rain will move out of here. tuesday, we'll have sunshine. breezy, temperatures in the mid-70s. a chance of an isolated shower ear or there, especially in the afternoon. then as we head into wednesday, we'll go partly sunny as well. maybe a stray shower popping up. thursday, as i said, i'm keeping it cloudy. we'll have to see if we can maybe add a few showers, hopefully not. look at this, we've got a stretch of weather that's going to be nice towards the end of the workweek, friday, saturday and sunday, we've got some sunshine. then we head into the low 90s monday through wednesday of next week. leon? >> looking good. things not looking so good for the cleveland cavaliers. we'll get to that in a second. first, today's weather was perfect for folks in montgomery county who stopped by the taste of wheaton, right downtown. vendors made everything from barbecue chicken to an asian noodle salad. the festival happens once a year, it's bee g
