county police are investigating a double murder there. news 4's justin finch live with how neighbors woke up to gunsho gunshots. adam, good morning. close to 11:00, the sound of blasting bullets from this quiet lot got neighbors up to call 911 alerting montgomery county police to the spot just above the mailbox. that wet spot is where a car was parked and two people were found dead inside. i want to take you now to video. this is how this double homicide investigation did begin. dark blue honda civic sedan. inside two people were dead. those people for some reason were brought to this area and were found dead inside their vehicle. let's take you back out live. you can see the wet spot is where that honda civic was parked. that spot was washed away. washed away

can. d.c. police hoping you can help them with a deadly shooting. algernon harvey died and 7 others were hurt. police say that the group may have been gambling when the shooting began. metro plans to make security changes after the agency put hard drives up for public auction. the problem, personal and business information was still on those hard drives. thousands of files could have been compromised when computers used by metro are auctioned or thrown away, all of the files are supposed to be erased. that didn't happen with two computers. meanwhile, metro has replaced so many wooden rail ties during safetrack that you could stack them as high as the washington monument, two times. that's a lot. that's one of many reasons why metro says that safetrack has been a success. what comes next? news 4's derrick ward is live with a look at that. hey, derrick. >> reporter: hey. well, you know, three years worth of work in a year's time, it is something to crow about,
