[ gunfire ] that is the sound of gunshots recorded by a homeowner's surveillance video. gunning down two young men one day before graduation. shadi najjar and artem ziberov were killed monday night while sitting in a car. there are a number of questions surrounding the case. news4's justin finch is live at the high school. justin. >> reporter: eun, good morning. montgomery county police spent hours on that block where those teens were found trying to gather more clues in the case. in the meantime, northwest high school, grief counselors will be on hand helping student it's and staff here work through the sudden loss. let's take you now to video and show you the victims here, 18-year-old artem ziberov and 17-year-old shadi najjar, both of germantown. they were friends and star students looking forward to their graduation. najjar and

put on their caps and gowns. killed just hours before their graduation in what neighbors described as a hail of bullets. the friends were found dead in najjar's honda near 11:00. the father began to worry when he texted shadi and didn't hear back. >> when i texted him. he always responds. always responds to me, always responds to his mom. that night, he did not respond. >> reporter: memorial service is planned for najjar at his germantown mosque. we are told as police continue to look for clues, try to figure out who may have done this and also who those boys were with before they were shot and what brought them to montgomery village. we're live in germantown, justin finch, news4. back to you. the entire school community observed a moment of silence yesterday

and there's another story that we're following on the international level, aaron. this one out of london where new this morning, another person has been arrested in connection with the london attack that happened over the weekend. now, looking at video of raids from yesterday, it caused a flurry of those raids that followed the attack on the near london bridge that killed seven people. all of the attackers were shot dead. out of the more than dozen arrested after that rampage, two do remain in custody this morning. at this morning, police are limited on details. they're not releasing much on why exactly those two are in custody. it's 6:33. now to some other top stories, grief counselors will be at northwest high school in germantown today after two students were murdered. someone shot and killed two graduating seniors monday night. it happened while they were sitting in a car in montgomery

tell us what's going on. >> reporter: we have literally just arrived. this is a group of townhomes. the damage is mostly in the back. you can't see much of it, but what you do see is all of the fire activity here. what happened, though, is that one of the firefighters actually fell through a floor in the townhouse. and that firefighter was taken to the hospital and is being evaluated right now. we're told that that firefighter should be okay. now, the piece of good news is that the woman who lives in this townhouse had already left for work and was not home when the fire started. so right now, firefighters just finishing up. and now the investigation begins as to what exactly started this fire. but again, one firefighter fell through a floor here and was taken to the hospital. and should recover. back to you. >> thanks, kristin.
