this was an intense scene in london for hours. news 4 erica gonzalez at the live desk with the latest on what we have on this. in the light of day, you can still see the smoke billowing from an apartment building in london ravaged by flames. heard about this unfolding before you went to bed last night. firefighters still working to get this completely put out. also still underway, but sadly deaths are being reported. as to how many, still not clear. firefighters saying they've never seen anything like this. all 24 floors engulfed. people seen and heard screaming from the windows. this is what it looked like last night. at least 50 people have been reported injured. apartments have just been upgraded last year. residents have long complained of fire safety standards and now we're seeing very dramatic images this morning. also tell you there is in fact an engineer on site analy

after a pair of career criminals shot and killed two correction officers. this happened tuesday when a large group of prisoners were being transported from one facility to another. during that time, inmates escaped the handcuffs. overpowered the officers and shot them with their own service weapons, which we're told they still have. since then, police say the incredibly dangerous men were spotted at dollar store and ransacked a home for food and clothing. leaving people all throughout the state on edge. back to you. 6:14. if you see angry messages about uber on social media pages this morning, this could be why. the company held a meeting yesterday to discuss the findings of report of allegations of sexual harassment. during the meeting, uber board member made a sexist remark about women. later apologized and resigned from the board. different note, kalanick

indefinite leave of absence. that was comedian bill cosby with an unusual outburst as he left court yesterday. this morning the jury back for a third day of deliberations to decide fate. cosby on trial for sexual assault. accused of drugging and assaulting a woman back in 2004. cosby says his encounter with that woman was consensual. facing three counts of assault. jury has to be unanimous about any verdict that it hand down. attack inside a deli left a clerk with pretty serious injuries. video you've seen all over social media. see the chaos erupt at new york city deli after a clerk tries to quick two men out of the shop. police say the clerk did not speak english and the suspects became angry and started throwing avocados. started throwing other fruit at the clerk and other employees too. cl

close attention to your kids when they're around water. only takes a few inches of water for a child to drown. never swim alone. even if you're an expert or experienced swimmer and experts say make sure there's a life guard on duty and take some time to learn cpr. >> you know, one of the most important things you can do is have your family, not just your children, but your adults also take swim lessons to become comfortable in the water. feel safe in the water. you want to headacmake sure if something happens to your child, you're able to help them. >> as for the drowning, police say still an active investigation, but so far no charges have been filed. back to you. 6:51. a story in maryland. facing serious charges. federal prosecutors say he
