hour-by-hour we'll move up in temperatures. we'll see the lower 80s this afternoon and the storms will move in as well. we'll look at that in just a minute. and here are 4 things to know this saturday morning. while you were sleeping, investigators in prince william county looked for evidence. they say that a man was hit and killed by an amtrak train. this happened after 7:00 last night at the woodbridge station. passengers had to wait for two hours. everyone was patient due to the tragic circumstances. police have not revealed the man's name. and hundreds of

jeronimo yanez was found not guilty after the shooting of philando castile. this led to protest outside the courthouse. the police department says it will part ways with the officer. and the search is underway off the coast of japan to find seven navy sailors who disappeared after the u.s. ship and container ship collided. they were thought to have been thrown overboard or trapped inside a damaged part of the ship. at least two crew members were evacuated and that includes commander bryce benson who was in stable condition. commander benson earned a master's degree from george washington yooumuniversity. and jurors in the bill cosby trial have resumed deliberations after being at it for 52 hours with no

yesterday jurors askedaccu brother-in-law. the defense team has asked several times foralo be called. and now to the latest concerning that shooting that rocked the nation this past week. >> here is a recap of the chilling moments. on wednesday morning just after 7:00 investigators say james hodgkinson opened fire on 22 gop lawmakers at a ballpark in alexandria. the congressmen were practicing for the annual congressional baseball game. four people were shot including house gop whip steve scalise who is in critical condition right now. police shot and killed hodgkinson. and pete williams reports on the concerning list that hodgkinson wrote down. >> reporter: while james hodgkinson was firing at members of congress wednesday morning, he was carrying a handwritten list in his pocket, names of se

adding a some advance. according to officials briefed on the fbi investigation, the list included trent franks of arizona, jeff duncan of south carolina and mo brooks of alabama along with a few others that officials wouldn't reveal. adding to the uncertainty of the list, franks was not on the team. congressman duncan says hodgkinson talked to him during wednesday's practice. >> he asked me if this team was the republican or democrat team practicing. i responded that it was the republican team practicing. and he proceeded to shoot republicans. >> reporter: investigators say they have yet to find anything indicating hodgkinson had an attack plan in mind. they say he told his wife earlier this week he was heading back to illinois and he canceled his membership in the ymca the day before the shooting and talked to a local garage about getting his van ready. doctors treating congressman steve scalise wounded in the shooting say while he remains in critical condition,y
