alexandria. a community comes together a week after the tragedy that captured the world's attention. a winner declared in the world's most expensive congressional race in the nation's history. tonight americans from d.c. to san francisco, detroit to boston took a stand against violence against muslims. >> the focus was on a 17-year-old, the virginia girl killed early sunday in what police call a case of road rage. tonight people gathered here to remember her. not all of them convinced that this was not a hate crime. >> jackie benson is live in sterling, virginia with more on the response there. jackie? >> reporter: we have some new information for you tonight. in a conversation with my colleague tonight, fairfax county commonwealth attorney ray morrow whose office will prosecute this case say

back to you. streets are closed in baltimore tonight where an underground steam pipe exploded a couple of blocks from cam den yards. five people were hurt. none of the injuries serious but the damage is bad. the blast shattered windows and sent chunks of asphalt down the block. this happened an hour before the oriel's game was going to begain. casa is claiming the trump information for deporting a virginia mother with no criminal record. immigration and customs enforcement announced today that they moved her to el salvador last week. she was arrested by border patrol agents in 2006 and a judge ordered her removed but the order was never enforced. now she has two kids here in the u.s.,ist citiz isu.s. citizens. an

above the mason-dixon line. as far as our radar is concerned, no problems out there. the next chance of rain comes on friday and it's a combination of two systems. one to the north and another one to the south. this is tropical storm cindy formed earlier today. new orleans could see six to ten inches of rain. the other area we're concerned about is houston, where the storm could make landfall. the winds are at 60 miles an hour. that's a strong tropical storm moving northwest at 7 miles an hour. this is the latest advisory as of 11:00. it will be near houston tomorrow night and then come on shore, could produce ten inches of rain in houston, going to bring a lot of flooding in the south. but a lot of the moisture out ahead of it, that will give us the rain on friday. so tomorrow no chance of rain, looking good. 82 degrees. perfect for lunch. 88 degrees, warm on your
