shot during a robbery attempt. it happened around 2:30 this afternoon just about a half an hour before closing and police, they were on this in a flash. k-9 dogs running with a purpose. cop, deep in the brush, looking for suspects looking for evidence. police on the edge, armed with long guns. a manhunt of consequence today in a wooded area on the north side of kennel worth avenue near douglas street. now, it all started across the way inside this restaurant on the north side. it's called the breakfast place, but nobody here calls it that. it's known as mary's place, why it's like the tasty diner of dean wood. it's been in business here for

police spent hours on scene trying to figure out how this mega bus collided into before crashing at the corner. >> this shook me. it really shook me. >> several people watched as the bus went out of control. >> everyone is saying, he's not stopping. he's not stopping. >> it started on sixth and eighth. >> he dragged this van from all of the way back. and then he came up and hit that car and then everything just collided all the together. >> i see it coming with the white van attached to the side of it. that bmw was coming this way. it hit the bmw spent it around and that's when he by the grace of god when he got to that building he stopped. his car ended up here. but he said he parked nearly two blocks away.
