closed during the investigation into the incident which happened at 11:55 last night. th'shen prceeoes police came upon a car, and they found an individual inside who had been shot and they said multiple times. they don't know if the person was shot was found there or somewhere else. that did snarl late-night traffic on the beltway for the period of that investigation. we are awaiting the identification of the victim in that incident. again, prince georges county police investigating a person found dead in a car on the beltway before midnight last night. back to you. >> darrick, thanks. to fairfax county where richmond

a man was hit and killed by a car while crossing the road. police still trying to figure out how this crash happened. follow any updates through our washington app. and prince georges county police investigating a home invasion that turned into a gun battle. two suspects broke into a home that you are looking at there, and they fired shots at the people inside and the people inside fired back. one of the intruders was killed and the other got away, and a person inside the home was taken to the hospital but expected to be okay. police at this point are saying they don't believe this was a random crime. we want to bring you up to speed out of the latest of the little rock, arkansas. u.s. marshals are confirming the arrest of ricky hampton, you see him right there. he's the first confirmed suspect in the shooting at the

ultra lounge. police say two people are in critical condition this morning. in all, 28 people hurt. nbc's chris pallone reports on what was a horrific shooting that now has that club shutting its doors for good. >> reporter: it happened in little rock's power ultra lounge, and the clubgoers tried to escape any way they could. in all police say 25 people were shot, at least three others injured trying to get out, and police say there were several shooters in the gun battle. >> some sort of dispute broke out between individuals that were inside and the exchange of gunfire took place. >> it happened as memphis rapper, finesse 2 tymes was onstage. the performer has open warrants for gun possession and assaults

into the sidewalk in harlem. some of the injured people there are getting help. police say the driver had a medical condition behind the wheel that caused him to slam into a city bus and lose control. this was around noon yesterday. people on the sidewalk said they could do what they could to get out of the way. >> i tried to grab him to go this way, and like, everybody just -- i know i went against the wall. it seemed very cold. >> the driver, a passenger in the uber and a police officer were among those taken to the hospital. two people are in critical but stable condition. one person is in serious condition. no charges have been filed against the driver. a netflix documentary has called for the release of his files. an online position has more than 11,0 s

come forward after an overnight homicide. this is a bizarre investigation that is under way right now. an officer found a man's body inside a stopped car on the outer loop of the beltway. this was near pennsylvania avenue. they say he was shot sometime before midnight. a shooting suspect on the loose after a home invasion in brandy wine. two intruders busts into a home and started shooting. somebody in the home fired back and one intruder died and the other fled and a person inside the home was injured. the u.s. marshals and the fbi arresting ricky hampton. this, who you are looking at right here, is the first official suspect in the little rock mass shooting. 28 people hurt and two in critical condition this morning and the finesse 2 tymes was arrested in alabama on thursday.

over to you. >> thank you. a candlelight vigil is planned to honor of life of a father of four killed in a motorcycle crash. he was killed after he lost control of his motorcycle in brandy wine. the accident happened thursday at branch avenue and phoerz road. the cause of the crash has been under investigation and tonight's vigil is set for 7:00 at the crash site. and a boy hit by a car on his bike and the driver taking off. there are claims the car that hit him was a police cruiser. the police are investigating the claims. the incident happened on thursday evening in northwest. police say that the boy ran off the road and struck a wall in an alley, but the boy and his mom, they have a different story. >> reporter: 11-year-old vaughn is walking with a limp and he said he was hit by a
