homicide in district heights, right, adam? >> news 4s justin drabick is headed to the scene. what we know is police swarmed the area of atwood street in district heights overnight. look at the video we have here. we are on the phone, working to learn more about exactly what happened. this is a confirmed double homicide at the moment. police say when they arrived at the scene, there were two people in the parking lot there and appears to be to males suffering from gunshot wounds. that is some of the information coming in about the confirmed double homicide. you can take a live look at the pictures from that scene. justin finch just getting to the scene. we are going to check in with him to get details on what happened. back to you in the studio. >> adam, thanks. developing this morning, we are working to learn what caused a d.c. officer to shoot a man in

peter told us an officer came across a man with a gun on park road in d.c.'s parkview neighborhood. the officer fired his weapon hitting the man. he was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay. the chief said his officers recovered a gun from the scene, but they are piecing together what happened. congressman steve scalise is back in icu this morning. late last night, med star washington hospital made the announcement. we expect another update later today. doctors say there are new concerns about an infection. several others were wounded in a shooting at baseball practice in alexandria. right now, we hear he is in serious condition. police had been moved out of the icu on june 23rd. new this morning, president trump in the middle of his visit to poland. right now, he's meeting in a joint news conference with that
