case. >> he said, i feel that my lawyer is not representing me and my best interest. he goes on to say his right to a speedy trial has been violated. i have not signed any sort of paper waving his right to a speedy trial. he said these are grounds for allstate charges against him to be dropped. caraway is looking at spending up to 100 years in federal prison after he pleaded guilty to forcing a dozen children to participate in child pornography. he said he had not heard from his attorney in over a year. he's represented by the public defender's office in his pending trial. in his letter. caraway goes on to tell the judge, my family will be reaching out to the media if my concerns are not addressed. this is not to be taken as a threat. he responded to caraway saying the court will address all of the concerns during his next hearind

i'm tracking a line of thunderstorms on storm team 4 radar, moving through west virginia and far western maryland, more on that in a moment, take a look at the weather headlines right now. we're in for a nice weekend. tomorrow night, spectacular on sunday. sunday my pick of the weekend next work week, it's going to be stormy at times very bit of a heat wave with lows in the 90s. anywhere in the low 80s. 80 degrees at that point. only about 10% chance as

from the metro area. here is what i'm saying right now. you can see in the metro area, we're dry, maybe a loan shower in western montgomery county. they're going to take a lot of energy and we'll start to see it fizzle out and the sun is going to start to go down and with daytime heating if it holds together around warranty. by about 9:00 in the district, maybe around 10, 11 and there's always the chance of showers in the. another big batch of rain further back out in ohio. this will move through over night tonight, with that lack of daytime heating that will also fizzle out really before it impacts area. temperatures right now in the 80s to low 90s.

. it's been two years now since the gunman opened fire inside a charleston, south carolina church killing nine people. one survivor recently made a trip to washington and visited the national museum of african-american history and culture. >> molly shepherd is her name. and she spoke with news 4 about her impressions of the museum and her reflections of the tragedy back home in washington. >> holly shepherd, for 35 years, this has been her place of worship, her place of peace, never question her faith. she says
