that's off of tip ling parkway. four people who live there have to find somewhere else to stay. no word on what started the fire. right now, travelers who were forced to stay at three area airports are hoping they'll be able to board a plane. this is a live look at the airports. flight aware.com is not reporting any delays at any of our airports, but we're keeping an eye on the situation. frustrated passengers were left with no way to get home after an incident at a place most people have never heard of. that meant for three hours air travel over this area stopped. we spoke with passengers who were desperate to make it to their final destinations. >> to detroit. my daughter's orientation, college orientation is in the morning. this is not good. everything is booked solid. they can't gets

officials are expected to announce the government will drop its search for a new location. the move was first reported by the "washington post" and washington business journal. fairfax and prince george's counties fought to bring the new headquarters to their communities. county leaders believed jobs and businesses would soon follow. the chair of the fairfax board of supervisors released a statement saying in part, "fairfax county put its best foot forward to attract the fbi headquarters and are disappointed the bureau will remain in its current location. baker would reserve comment until after the official announcement. back to the drawing board. lawmakers are making changes to the bill hoping to convince republican holdouts to vote in favor of the plan. in the meantime, opponents are becoming more

doctors, nurses and patients with preexisting conditions went to several senate offices yesterday to protest the bill. at one point they shouted shame, shame, shame. you heard it there outside of texas senator ted cruz's offices. 80 people were arrested yesterday. a vote could come next week. in northern virginia, prince william county police hope you can help track down this man. surveillance photo show him using a cell phone to take pictures or video of women's skirts and dresses. he was captured at the walmart in manassas on saturday morning. if you can help identify him, police would like to hear from you. tears and anger in manassas for people who live at this mobile home park. the city council delayed a decision on a plan to keep the east end mobile home park open. they want to buy the park and fix the broken water and

4:40. here are four things to know before you head out the door. u.s. army soldier accused of trying to support isis. the sergeant from hawaii made his first court appearance yesterday. the fbi says he tried to give military documents to people he believed would pass them on to isis. agents say he also pledged loyalty to the leader of isis and said he wanted to kill, quote, a bunch of people. an extensive search involving heavy equipment on farmland north of philadelphia. police are looking for four young men who vanished.

high-speed chase in south carolina. there was a toddler inside this car when it flipped in richmond county saturday night. in the corner of your screen, you can see the officers fighting with the suspect. the suspect was holding his 1-year-old daughter as he battled with at least two officers. the child is okay. and the father is facing several charges. check out this amazing waterspout captured on camera by a mother in north carolina. she's an amateur photographer and she was at the beach with her kids when that waterspout formed in the outer banks. this is in kill devil hills, 90 miles south of virginia beach. the area was under a tornado warning at the time. a fairfax county police officer is being hailed a hero this morning. >> that's because he was able to save a stabbing victim's life. the officer arrived at the scene on rectory lane on annan daily to find the victim bleeding from slashed arteries.

northern virginia coming up. i'm angie goff. right now in oklahoma, the fbi and atf are on the ground investigating an explosion outside of a u.s. air force recruiting office. take a look at the damage done. they believe that this was a pipe bomb that went off around 10:30 in bixby. witnesses say that someone on a motorcycle threw a backpack at at building before the blast. bomb squad came but they're not calling terrorism. but we're expecting another update later this morning. now back to you. >> ang you, thank you. it's 4:46. donald trump jr. is back in the spotlight because of another report in the new york times. >> this one claims he was told in an e-mail his meeting with the russian lawyer was part of a russian government effort to help his father's campaign. news 4's tracie potts is live on capitol hill. tracie, tell us more about what happened here. >> sure. if that's true, knowing in advance that the government of

campaign would be significant to the congressional investigators, to the fbi special investigator looking into possible connections between the trump campaign and russia. there is the link. but it's not a definitive link at this point. the senate intelligence committee has serious questions for donald trump jr. and he's tweeting he's more than happy to talk with them about whatever he knows. the interviews set to start this week but we don't know when or if they'll talk to him. he initially said the meeting with the russian lawyer was about adoption and he came back and said there was something that she wanted to pass along that may be damaging to candidate then hillary clinton. and now he has an attorney who is saying that this is essentially much ado about nothing and there was never a promise to use any information or that the information would be found credible.

bond. it could be a week before the medical examiner knows how a 4-month-old died in montgomery county. she was found in a van over the weekend. sunday morning police were called to the parking lot of the motel 6 in gaithersburg. she was pronounced dead at the hospital. montgomery county police say the baby's family is homeless and living out of the van. we're learning more about a deadly officer involved shooting in frederick county, maryland. it was howard county police officers who were involved here. the officers were in frederick county helping with an investigation into a series of burglaries. the howard county officers say they witnessed a crime in progress and that's when the officers tried to stop burglary suspects on manor drive in mt. airy. the suspects tried to ram their patrol car. one of the suspects is dead, the other under arrest. the officers were not hurt. new this morning, we're learning what's causing deadly accidents on the roads we take every day to and from work. according to

crashes are the biggest cause of highway traffic deaths. this is true in our area and around the country. according to this report, the number of deadly crashes in maryland, virginia and the district are increase, in part because of distracted drivers. metro wants to pull out all the stops to win you back. it's planned a media market campaign aimed at thanking riders. metro wants to prove the system is running better now. ridership is way down because of service issues in the now finished state track maintenance program. metro also plans to hold a regional summit to come up with new ways to get riders to come back to the rails. if you have an e-zpass flex in your car, you could get a penalty if you don't ever use the hov option. >> adam tuss breaks down the confusion from the p p express lanes. >> that's right. you could face a penalty for not carpooling enough here in northern virginia. it

the e-zpass flex which switches from hov mode to regular mode. if you aren't using it enough to carpool, the state says you could pay a $10 fine. this has to do with the fact that she is e-zpass flex transponders are more expensive to manufacture according to e-zpass. that's why if you're not using it enough, you're going to have to pay the $10 fine to make up the difference. now, there is a wa to avoid that penalty. you can simply take a carpool ride within a six-month period or trade in your flex for a traditional e-zpass. in the meantime, keep an eye out for an e-mail from them or face a $10 fine. >> we'll have to ask adam what do we do -- well, he was once a little cop at the national zoo. now he's celebrating his
