15. showed the shoot out that ended with a one-year-old wounded. you'll see several people. all of a sudden one of the men started shooting and another person returns fire. this all went down monday night police are asking for your help to identify the people that you see there in that video. little boy was in his stroller and his dad was walking him home when the shots rang out. now, we talked with jeremiah's mom yesterday. she tells us that he is making a good recovery. peter tweeted out this video and said, no one shoots a baby in dc and gets away with it. he's promising to catch the shooter. >> thank you, chris. it was a murder case with racial under tone that left military service member dead and two college campuses in

coverage of the heat with doug. >> so doug just how high as our temperatures climbed this evening. let's take a look and show you what we're dealing with down at the airport. the heat index at the airport reached 106 degrees a little bit earlier. that's just amazing. 95 degrees the current temperature, winds out ouft southwest at 14 miles per hour. here are the current numbers, 90 fredericksburg. 93 in baltimore. and looking at the heat index, 104 dc and 104 annapolis. fredericksburg was around 10 a that's why we had the heat advisory. it's issued when we're expecting a heat index over 105 that's exactly what we saw today in this area. just about everybody get report of heat index close to 105. now, we're looking at a few
