surprised if we saw another warning with this storm right here, a lot of lightning with this, but warrantton, manasas. i wouldn't be surprised if we saw flash flooding. new flash flood warning in towards parts of the eastern shore here. i wouldn't be surprised to see one here either, right now all eyes on this storm right here, for prince georges county, northern -- under a severe thunderstorm warning until 5:45. look at thrgs right around buoy. i'm going to track this for you. we're going to track this right on down towards the east here through prince georges county. you'll see what time this is going to make its way through your area. as we move on through the rest of the evening hours, you can see where this is going to be going. moving on down to the southeast, east southeast, but it's right on your

maybe you're always worried about the trees coming down, you've got one of the trees that looks like it might be come down. this storm has had a history of a few trees down already. back down to the storm now, notice this line that's really taking over, and then we get a little bit of a break, some heavy rain in through fairfax county. and then this area of just extremely heavy rain in and around back towards the county, coming in towards portions of culpepper county, nearly 2 inches of rain per hour associated with this. this is moving over manasas. and if you live south of fairfax and down around the clifton area, you're getting a lot of this, too, that's where that line is and that fall line. this is national harbor camera, again, that wider view, this looked amazing a minute ago. you can see the rain associated with it as the storm

now do we have that live camera, yeah, this is a tree down. this is a big tree, wow. this is a big tree that came down on a car, one thing i notice right away is the route system of that tree, probably one of those that was right on the curb there, no root system at all to that tree. if you look in there, that tree is rotten in the middle. i don't know if we can zoom out here, but that car definitely going to have a lot of issues associated with it. that is a monster tree. you can see fire and rescue out here. this is off military road in through parts of northwest dc. can we pan to the left, at all. there it is right there. wow, what a big tree. it does look like it hit a house. fortunately it looks like the biggest part of the tree is in either the front yard or backyard, can't tell which part that is, it looks like the heaviest part of the tree is in the yard and not on the house looks like, exactly right, that tree was right on the curb. you've seen these trees, youee

action after their children were hit by the same dump truck driver. >> they want to know why that driver was still on the street after the first accident occurred two years ago. the latest crash happened just earlier this week in northeast dc. a woman was hit on her way to a job interview. he talked to members of both families teaming up to get some answers, pat. >> allison zimmerman, her 22-year-old son, ethan, run over by a fort myer construction company dump truck in november 2015. her son suffered brain injure jis, broken bones. he's gone through numerous operations. >> that was

drove off. left my beautiful boy on the side of the road and drove away. >> reporter: kimberly butler, her 23-year-old daughter, bianca, run over by a fort myer dump truck last tuesday on south dakota avenue. there was fear she might not be able to walk again. >> you can imagine the phone call, that was the rough part, the phone call that i got and chill just went through my body because that's my child and for any mother, i don't wish that for any mother. >> reporter: sources say the driver of the dump truck in both cases was the same man, 62-year-old ismael alvarez. and both families can't understand how after the first accident, alvarez was allowed to get behind the wheel, again. >> i'm shocked that he is still -- he still has a job in the trucking industry. i'm shocked. it

>> reporter: after the 2015 accident, alvarez was charged with hit-and-run. he was awaiting trial in that case when he got involved in the south dakota avenue accident. >> she'll be scarred for life. i'm very angry. i'm not going to say i'm not. >> reporter: because you don't think that driver should have been behind that wheel. >> i really say the same thing, he should never be behind the wheel. >> reporter: now, alvarez is still awaiting trial on that 2015 hit-and-run charge. the south dakota avenue accident that's still under investigation and we're still waiting some response from fort meyer construction chris, back to you. >> you're going to stay on top of it, thank you, pat. chopper 4 has been flying over the scene of deadly crash in charles county. it's not clear what caused it. we know it happened just before noon, rock point road near kings farm. state police tell us the car

head-on collision with a pickup truck. the driver of that car died at the scene. the driver of the truck died at the hospital. it's still not clear why it crossed into on-coming traffic. the women's march is on the move this afternoon. and this time there's a singular target, it's the national rifle association. >> to send a message to that building over there that your time is up. >> reporter: hundreds galterred that came from our region, that came from across the country demonstrating from across the street from fairfax county headquarters and now they're on a 18-mile march to the department of justice, yes, during this storm. bureau chief julie carey has been talking to the marchers, she joins us from arlington. >> reporter: there are no words on the sign, it still conveys a power f message. it's been five years since her niece was shot to death by her boyfriend. and the tears still flow when

now, the lawyer allegedly promised compromising information on hillary clinton. but today we learned another person was at that meeting, a russian american lobbyist who happens to be a counter intelligence officer. u.s. officials think he still has connections to the russian intelligence community. today the lobbyist admitted to being at the meeting but denied any current connections with the russian government. the revelations have democrats calling for kushner security clearance to be revoked, some have gone further demanding that president trump fire kushner from his advisory role. kushner, himself, is incompetent. one of donald trump's junior attorney said the lobbyist was described only as a friend of the russian lawyer. >> the jury deciding the case of local man who is on trial for killing a caterer.

bonds fate for about three hours now. he's accused of killing a caterer during a wedding last summer. northern virginia david was in court as both sides made their final arguments to jurors. david, i just saw, you tweeted out that jurors sent the judge a question. >> reporter: chris, i can tell you in the three hours they've been deliberating, now we've had two questions. i just stepped out of the courtroom in the past few minutes. the second question has to do with the clarification of definition of involuntary manslaughter. that may clue into what's focused right now. the prosecution had their chance to issue closing arguments today. in that they were adamant that bonds was the aggressor in all of this. they say he went after johns at that wedding party. they say he pulled out the knife and stabbed her. he stuck it into her

the district. if you know folks getting out of town and heading over the bay bridge, dealing with a lot of heavy rain, as well. >> that's the case, right now. we have new severe thunderstorm warning, including portions of # a right around annapolis, so take a look right now. we've got two active warnings currently, one in prince georges county, southern -- this storm prompted the warning, that was over dc has actually weakened just a little bit. the boundary that's making it way, east, though, has strengthened this storm. let's show you what i'm talking about, look at all the light e-mail. if you live around the annapolis, heads up, get inside, again, we have a history of a lot of trees down with this, especial into this area around mcclain, oakland, dc, a lot of trees down around arlington. heads up, you can see right here. see this little -- this is a little bit of echo, what that tells us we have some air moving

punched. how many times. i don't remember. >> police say, this man is a suspect seen here in surveillance video from another bus few hours after the attack. it was tuesday, about 12:15 a.m. and passenger attacked just before getting off at this stop at the shady grove metro station. he and the passenger talked. it started with a verbal altercation and got physical. he tried to use the phone to contact police. >> suspect grabbed the phone from the bus driver and began asaultdi assaulting him with a phone. >> he just pulled away from the stop. the suspect got off the bus and unfortunately, the video equipment wasn't working. police say this video from another bus showing the suspect doing something unexpected. >> he has a conversation with the driver of that bus, which he talks about assaulting the driver on the first bus. >> he

arlington and counties to the north and back to the west. >> that's very good news for areas to the north and west, take a look and show you what's happening. southern maryland under the gun. you can see the areas is in pink still under the severe thunderstorm watch. this has been where it's been dropped. montgomery county no longer under warnings, really now looking at three distinct storm areas, one around annapolis, but towards clinton as you cross it over the bay bridge here. bay bridge, oh, wouldn't like to be there with that severe thunderstorm on top of that. a lot of wind. here is the other area and then notice this line really forming now and this area down towards the fredericksburg region. let's take you on a couple of zooms in. first around annapolis, the bay bridge in through the chesapeake bay. going to be nasty there. look at this storm, right on the tail end of that first line here, just theou

lot of lightning associated with that. wind, too, and this line just developing here, notice all the thunder and lightning. we could see a strong line, maybe a strong area, possible warning down there, as well. heads up around king george county. this is all part of that cold front that is still back to the west. that's coming on through. we could still have a couple of showers, maybe a rumble of thunder, watch out. we still have the cloud cover. look at the current heat index, down to 73, that's the current temperature, as well. 109 degrees. and back in hagerstown, up to 96 degrees. you can see where the rain has come through across the region now. what was that, scott. >> take a look at this. here it is down towards the bay bridge. look at this,

>> that's right. we've been hearing about this all day long. i'm trying to put things into perspective about this report. who doesn't like mac and cheese. the group calls the environmental health center has people talking about it today in the group. it's a member of coalition today for food processing and packaging. they tested several varieties of powder mac and cheese products, including craft, which most of us know dominate the market. they had chemicals used in plastics in 29 of 30 products it tested. it has been associated with reproductive health problems. now the group is urging kraft to eliminate it from its production. we asked kraft about the report it said, we do not add phihalates to our products. the trace amounts are more than 1,000 times lower than scientific authorities have identified as acceptable. our products are safe for consumers to

continues to reform down around fredericksburg, take a look here. we saw a very strong storm around annapolis, that is now moving across the bay, in towards parts of carolina county. new severe thunderstorm watch for them, warning for them along the eastern shore there. once again if you're heading to the beach, yeah, you might want to rethink that just a little bit. down to the south, charles county under the gun. very heavy rain, right along 301. some lightning with this storm that's going to move right over, look at that storm right there that's moved over the bay. getting hit hard, as well. this will move right into king george county, as well, over the next half hour to hour. we've seen a lot of damage, a lot of trees down, a lot of power outages.
