news4 justin finch is live at the scene with more on what evidence police have recovered. justin? >> reporter: good morning. so far we do know a handgun was recovered on scene but right now police are trying to square stories out here. one man was shot. we now know several times. question is was he a bye alexander stan -- bystander or a suspect. police are looking for one other suspect. let's take to you the scene. the 1900 block of addison road south close to 12:30 this morning prince george's police cot the call arriving to a town home and finding the man shot multiple times. we're told he's now in critical condition. it's unclear just who that shooting victim is in this case. again, a gun was recovered. police have done their interviews out here and gathered clues but they still say it's very early in

investigation. >> as well as interview the multiple people that were inside the residence, we have recovered a handgun and are looking for at least one additional suspect at this time. >> reporter: and it is believed that that other suspect at least one other person did flee this scene here on foot. no word which direction that person was going. again, one victim in this case, he was shot multiple times and police are looking for more leads in this case to build it. we're live here in district heights. i'm justin finch, news4. back to you. also developing this morning another family is mourning the loss of their loved one in prince george's county. there have now been 14 murders in the first 18 days of july in the county. chopper 4 was over the scene last night on larchdale road in laurel. a man was shot and killed around 8:30 p.m. police don't believe this was a random crime. although they don't have

suspect. last week the police chief announced officers would work 12 hour shifts to crack down on violence. investigators are still trying to figure out who their 13th murder victim is in the county. prince george's county police say the man's name they don't know it yet. they release this sketch. he's a hispanic man between 35 and 40 years old with no tatoos. now detectives spent yesterday knocking on doors in the riverdale heights neighborhood where the body was found. it was dumped on sunday morning. police are offering a reward up to $25,000 that threads an arrest and indictment. in southeast washington a string of attacks has people on edge this morning. d.c. police say 11 people were shot by paint balls. late last night police release this photo of the vehicle they are looking for. victims say it's the car that drove past them when someone inside started

desk where we just received some dramatic video. this comes to us out of massachusetts. take a look at this rescue. it happened around 1:20 local time. we hear 20 firefighters worked to rescue a 37-year-old man. he fell into a well that was abandoned in someone's backyard. he actually fell 10 to 15 feet and we know he has back and leg injuries but is expected to survive and be okay. rescue crews saying that there was an 18 inch steel cover over that well but somehow removed. i do want to go to that video that as i said just came into the live desk. you're seeing this huge rescue effort involving several dozen members of the fire department there, taking away the man who was in that well overnight. he fell about 10 to 15 feet and we know that now he has been taken to the hosta

shot livingston road here in southeast. the school speed limit here is 15 miles per hour and there you see a newly installed speed camera in this area. is this same area where 6-year-old xavier was killed crossing the street on his birthday. you're seeing more speed cameras it's because people are asking for them. crashes and pedestrian safety are what drive those questions. aaa released its review of those numbers kind of where the cameras are, how much someone made from them. 2 million speed dcamera tickets were issued furg 2016. four out of nine were issued in d.c. alone. the district has collected a total of 536 million dollars in speed ticket revenue since 2007. news4 combed through the data and found since the start of speed cameras in the district, traffic fatalities have decreased by 76%. a reminder

his son's shooter is someone that was close him to. i want to take to you the scene as it was here a few hours ago. the 1900 block of addison road. several prince george's county police out on the scene, gathering evidence. they believe it was an attempted robbery and home invasion. several people were inside the home at the time. and that one person who we now believe is "todatavon martin of. another person left the scene. again that father telling us he got word his son was shot overnight, came to the hospital, saw his son just about an hour or so ago and he's telling us his son is in for the fight of his life. >> my son beat up in the hospital right now. gun shots wounds every where. every where. twice in the neck. once in the face. got a hole in the back of his head.
