scott joins us now in the newsroom with the new decision, scott. >> we found this tucked into a 100 page spending bill just approved by u.s. house committee, federal rail road administration to prevent people from trespassing on the train tracks. congressional investigators say number of people hidden and killed are walking on and near the tracks have spiked 23% in the past 5 years. undercover investigation by the news 4 i-team revealed a series of locations in which people frequently walk across train tracks as a shortcut to cross through town. it includes one in hyattsville and near the college park mark station. there have been a series of deadly incidents in both maryland and virginia over the past two years involving people trespassing on tracks. congress ordered to kreduce the debts and set a deadline to do so by

these days on the hot sun. we've got weather alert days, friday, saturday, sunday, saturday's weather alert, not just for the heat, amelia is here with more on what we can expect. >> there's about a 60% chance that you're dealing with some thunderstorms later in the day. take a look, the storm prediction center issues outlook. this is what you're looking at right now. you can see the entire area, northern maryland all the way back into west virginia under this slight risk on saturday for the afternoon and evening hours. what does that mean for you, the biggest threat by far will be heavy rain fall. it will be the slow moving thunderstorms we'll see. it will be moving through the area, rather quickly as normal thunderstorm, whether or not going to sit in one place and then after the heavy rain fall, doug, we can see some high wind as well as hail. again saturday afternoon you want to be weather ready. the rest of the weekend, the thunderstorm chances, a little bit lower for sunday. >> yeah, we still think we can see some during the day on monday the whole system pulls
