that dangerous heat and storms that could be popping up at any time and just in time for your weekend and good afternoon i'm wendy sitting in for pat lawson muse. >> let's get now with doug kemperer standing by. >> storms out there right now and we think a really good chance of storm to severe storms. we did have a warning a little bit earlier, that was down towards lor ray. that line of storms which was very strong. we're looking at a couple of storms just south and west, look at these storms developing now around hampton county. this is a line that we'll see -- and the storm is out ahead of this dying out as we move across sub city innocence, i think we'll be okay. most of these will not make their way over the mountains as we move on to the rest of the overnight

children to and from the learning center. these charges are coming down nine months after police were first notified of the incident. back in october of last year, little girl was taking a nap at kinder care. police say she woke up to him touching her inappropriately. that same day she told her family what happened. they notified detectives within a few weeks. police say it's been a lengthy complex investigation. they just obtained a warrant last week. detectives say they are releasing this information to find out if more children may have been vick imized. my colleague is at the kinder care working to bring you more information for news 4 at 5:00. from behind the desk, chris lawrence. a nightmarish head-on crash neighbors say is too dangerous. neither driver walked away from this scene. easy to imagine why. news 4 derrick ward is live that this crash

derrick, tell us about this. >> well, you know, what we're looking at right here is part of $116 million in infrastructure changes. it's going to include on and off ramps they think it will make this road safer and eliminating some of those intersections. now, the question remains would that have made any difference this that deadly crash this morning. it was about a wrong way driver and head-on collision and it happened just over there. investigators believe a northbound motorist was traveling on the southbound side and that car collided with southbound car killing the drivers of both vehicles. police have yet to determine how the car ended up on the wrong side of the road but familiar with route 210 on the highway just adds to the notoriety of this busy thoroughfare. it bring the toll of lives lost since january. countless serious accidents and pedestrian fata

here comes 2:00. a couple of showers hot and humid again. and then potential line of storms and we do have this line. this could be a very strong line of storms with a potential for some very hot winds. let's take a look at the storm impact potential. i think one of the bigger threats. heavy rain fall, too, with all of this humidity, it's not going to take much, not too worried about flash flooding, they should be moving fairly quickly and that help to provide some wind. that's why it's a big issue. 96 degrees on your saturday, hot and humid, would not be surprised to see another heat advisory tomorrow. 70% chance of thunderstorms as we move on through today. we're talking severe weather during the day on sunday, both days in the mid and upper 90s. not quite as humid. 95 degrees on monday. tuesday high temperature of 89 degrees. we got 87 on wednesday. wednesday is looking prett
