wounds. investigators don't know what led to the shooting. neighbors in a centreville neighborhood were able to rest easily. this is over golden oak road. the man police say was responsible for the hours-long standoff was wheeled to a waiting ambulance. earlier in the night a 12-year-old girl and her mother were released from the home. the mother was hurt in a domestic assault. the man's name has not been released. but he is expected to face charges. there is a water main break that could impact your trip to work today. >> let's check in with angie goff for the latest. what's happening? >> thankfully, this is only near a major road, not on it. but right now, south osborn road in upper marlboro is shut down. police tweeting out that there was a water main break in the 7,000 block near brentwood drive. we don't have pictures. the road is going to belo

migrants secretly traveling in the back of a packed tractor-trailer pleaded for water and pounded on the truck as it overheated in texas. ten people died and nearly two dozen others injured. some from guatemala and mexico. police charged the truck driver, james bradley, with illegally transporting immigrants but says -- he says he did not know anyone was inside. charlie gard's parents are saying goodbye to their little boy. this case in england droou drig attention around the world. he can't see, hear or -- they don't believe it will do anything. they took the case to court but the legal fight took too much time. a judge was expected to rule this week on the case. the potential for flooding is causing a dangerous situation out west right now. take a look at the
