exactly what they expected. elliott sadler, so many guys during the week, yesterday afternoon as we did our stuff and did the interviews, we heard so many guys talk about the race track being hot and slick. here's a kid that's savoring every moment of this. i know he wanted to go to victory lane so we can interview him. but he doesn't care about us right now. this is his first xfinity win. we've seen him win modifieds. we've seen him win k and m. here he is in an xfinity series race, driving for jgr, he wins the race, this is his moment. this is like when you see guys that stand up and give their acceptance speech. i don't care if they're on the five-minute clock. thet them go 15 minutes. >> he missed the door to victory lane so he continues by the start/finish line again. i'm sure they're telling him how to get down there. >> kyle: the fans along the front stretch are incredibly appreciative of the performance they had

the guardrails on either side of water street. i'm told that the water was up over those guardrails earlier today so already like sheena had said, waters are beginning to recede. let's show you video we shot withins last hour. i'm told the flooding started around noon, so it's been going on for the last several hours. things are beginning to improve. and for anyone who has lived in this area or been watching the news, you know this is a flood proned area. we had severe flooding in upper marlboro at the county administration building and a car dealership. there was a local resident who came out to check out the damage. have you seen the flooding down here before? because this isn't the first time. >> no, not like this. i mean, the rapids and everything, not like this. made me want to get my boat.

little over 2 1/2. so a lot of heavy rain. but now it's coming to an end. tonight, this rain really dwindling down. tomorrow it will be cooler temperatures. by tomorrow afternoon, we're looking really good across the area. we're talking about its in the mid-80s and sunny skies. right now the its 77, so temperatures are rising. leesburg is 79, lorton 76. we still have the flood warning for parts of prince george's county. so again route 301 closed for now. a few light showers in prince george's county. but big picture, a lot of the rain really has moved out. we're seeing some of the clouds thing. the low pressure is offshore and we have this dry air moving in, so tonight we'll be seeing the clouds starting to clear. here is future weather. so there you see it, maybe a couple light showers by 9:30, around the district maybe
