it was a family member who found the car overturned in a creek. we saw the scenes from chopper 4 all night over the scene of evergreen mills road in loudoun county. the car and all three bodies were discovered late yesterday afternoon. they were missing since friday. shomari stone has reaction from the family. >> i'm so hurt. i don't know what i'm going to do. >> she spent the evening at kraa crash scene. the bodies of her daughter, 27-year-old courtney ash, her grandson cameron and courtney's 9-year-old cousin jaylen are also here. courtney left her mother's house before the crash. >> it was raining really, really hard when they left here friday.

didn't you make them stay. >> loudoun county sheriff michael chapman. >> it's a tragic end to a tragic scenario. we really feel for the family. >> sheriff chapman believes the car hit the guardrail in a small bridge over the creek on evergreen mills road 5 yards from the embankment. investigators believe it happened in the stormy weather. the impact ejected courtney's body from the car. there's no indication that there's any foul play. >> she was visiting relatives. we talked to her stepmother, russell, before she went out on her own search. she and her husband found the crash scene. >> it's a nightmare. >> yeah. >> and that was shomari stone reporting. right now, prince william county police need your help of finding a man whose name is

graham ii left his home yesterday in virginia. he left around 2:00 p.m. i've actually posted a picture of him on my facebook as well as twitter page. police believe that he may need help, might be in danger. if you see him and have the chance to share that post this morning, we'd really appreciate it. contact police with any information. also developing this morning, we continue to work to learn why a woman lost control of her car here and caused this deadly crash. this happened on 28th avenue and st. barnabas road and temple hills last night. the driver was in a parking lot off of branch avenue and lost control of her car. that car went into the road and hit a car with three people inside of it. they're all going to be okay. the driver of the first car did die. that driver has not been identified as of this morning. turning now to the white house which continues to keep us busy where aides will likely face a

we had coverage saying that the ouster was one of john kelly's -- we heard from president trump's who praised the new man in charge. the firing falling the remarks about the president's staff last week. news 4's tracie potts, she's going to have more on what led to scaramucci being pushed out. that's later in the hour. tropical depression emily now turning to the weather. we heard from sheena this morning it came ashore as a tropical storm yesterday causing some minor damage, including flooding, power outages in the sunshine state. they felt winds up to 45 miles per hour. thankfully, though, as sheena mentioned, we're not seeing anything like that her a

take a look at this. the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world. how long is it you ask? it actually spans five football fields or more than a quarter of a mile. the bridge connects the hiking trails between two swiss towns. the highest point at the bridge stands at almost 300 feet aboveground. if you look down, you look straight into that ravine. if you're scared of heights, probably not the walk for you. this looks like something for the flying wallendas. >> i would totally do that. that would be a lot of fun. i was on a suspended bridge similar to that in canada. it was really cool. today will be a nice day. probably not for that type of bridge. i don't think we have that around here. the dry stretch is going to

today. d.c. mayor muriel bowser introduced the new flier, excelsior buses. they're going to be the first wave of d.c. circulator buses that will use clean diesel technology. they will have usb charging ports so you can, of course, get your juice. charge your phones. ziefrps it it is a stretch of highway so many of us dread. it will slow you down likely. the work runs from the seminary road overpass in montgomery county to the 270 split through kensington and bethesda as well. transportation reporter adam tuss says it will even impact you even if you're not on the beltway. >> when it comes to fixing up the beltway, drivers like anton spencer say get it done. >> take care of it now while you can before it becomes an issue later on. >> the inner loop between seminary road and the split just got a makeover. now it's the outer loop's turn.

chopper 4 and you can tell the difference. that's the outer loop on the left with the potholes and craters. the inner loop which got a facelift is on the right. now, the work on the outer loop started today and it's going to take place outside of rush hours. >> it's been at least 15 years since we've resurfaced that area. >> charlie with the maryland state highway administration says while the work takes place, it's important to stay alert. just last week a highway worker was hit and killed in the ft. meade area. >> our contracting people, they have place toss go home to every night, too. >> crews will be out and it's all about fixing guardrails and the road resurfacing is still months away. that means drivers will find another way around. this man says the beltway is unbearable without the roadwork. >> it's brutal. you sit there every day and like thiss

building on 16th street northeast. for those of you familiar with the area, that is off the bladensburg road near h street. one person was treated for exposure to smoke. we're in contact with officials trying to get more information. eun, we'll bring that back to you as soon as we get an update. >> we'll check in with you soon, angie. a loudoun county family is facing heartbreak. the search for their three missing family members has ended in tragedy. the sheriff's office says the heavy rains that we had over the weekend played a big role in this. courtney ash's car was found overturned in a creek on evergreen mills road in loudoun county. chopper 4 flew over the scene yesterday. ash, her son cameron and his cousin jaylen were missing since friday. the sheriff says the car hit a guardrail, flipped over and fell into the creek. her mother says, looking back, the weather conditions were too dangerous
