services at united medical center. it could be called off before the 90 days, but that's only if the health department sees umc making significant improvements to those procedures here. of course for most here in southeast, this comes as a big surprise. >> that's not good. because you have a lot of unfortunate people around here that really can't afford to go anywhere else. and it's really not fair. >> reporter: and ward 8 a and c commissioner calling for more details about the suspension and what can be done to left it sooner. also committee chair vincent gray asking for more information. umc has given no comment yet about the suspension. >> we'll check back with you soon. but also to add to your

happening. construction begins today to add new toll lanes to the i-395 corridor in virginia. >> no matter where you live and drive in the area, you probably have an opinion on the coming tolls. news4's aimee cho is live in pentagon city this morning with more on this story. >> reporter: good morning, this is going to slow down your commute at first. but it could eventually also speed it up. starting today, crews are working on 395. look behind me, you can see the middle part there. they'll be turning that into three express lanes. those lanes will run about eight miles long from edsel road in alexandria, to the d.c. line. and that construction should take over a year. so it's definitely going to be a lot of delays there, that you're looking at and once those express lanes open in 2019, you're going to have to pay if you want to use them. as costs get higher with the
