fair fox police say this man sexual assaulted a five-year-old girl. he has a mustache and thick eyebrows, has a side part in his dark hair. police describe the man as being in his mid-20s to early 30s. the assault happened on sunday near tower drive in fairfax section of alexandria. police returned to the area yesterday to pass out the sketch and talk with neighbors. we spoke to one father that said until police catch this guy, he is not letting his kids out of his sight. >> we have to look at everything, that's why i came out with my children. >> you won't let them out alone. >> no, no. >> want to show you the sketch again. if you have any information, call fairfax county police. today thousands of students heading back to class. it is the first day of the new school year for students in fauquier county and frederick county, virginia public schools. most districts have a few days or weeks left to

it has been a heart wrenching days in sierra lee own after deadly mud slides and flooding. many were trapped in the mud as they slept. rescue workers are still searching for people buried in homes. red cross says close to 600 people are still missing. more than 300 people are dead. i was there righted after this apartment building blew up in silver spring a year ago. seven people died there, little over a year ago. we're now finding out what may have led up to that blast. a report from bureau of alcohol, tobacco and firearms and explosives shows investigators discovered a disconnected vent pipe in one of the buildings there. it was in the meter room where the atf believes the explosion originated. in that report, the atf says it is possible the room filled with gas and then small flame like a pilot light on water heater also in that room set off

however, it is not clear why the pipe was disconnected. a maryland candidate for governor and illinois congressman are among those arrested at an immigration protest. take a look.
