the truck driver involved in this case has been indicted by a federal grand jury. james bradley jr. could face the death penalty. at least 39 people were trapped inside a sweltering tractor-trailer when it was found in san antonio last month. ten people, including the young man here, frank fuentes, died. he recently graduated from jeb stuart high school in falls church, virginia. he was deported and was trying to get back to his family in the u.s. when he died. today, a college-bound teen killed days before she was set to leave for school is being remembered. there is a vigil planned for her tonight. it is happening at 14th street and saratoga avenue in northeast. that is where she was shot in the head as she was driving. she died a few days later. police say the bullet was not intended for her. so far there has been one arrest, but police are still looking for two more people in connection with the shooting. tonight's vigil begins at 8:00 p.m. right now the fbi is

in charlottesville. her father delivered an emotional speech. >> no father should have to do this. but i love my daughter. as i look out on you guys, you loved her too. >> heyer died on saturday when a man drove his car into counterprotesters at that white supremacist rally. james fields jr. is charged with second degree murder in heyer's death. he's being held without bond. today, family and friends will say goodbye to the honorable patsy tyser, the former mayor of alexandria served and was a state senator. she passed away after complications from a fall. visitation is tonight at st. paul's episcopal church in alexandria. it begins at 5:30. the funeral is tomorrow at 11:00 at the church. it's one of our area's most recognizable buildings, especially if you drive on the beltway in

chances for today. they'll be increasing more than yesterday. yesterday was nice. today we have a few showers around currently. more thunderstorms in the forecast. but the good news is the weekend is looking really good. here's a look at the radar now. most of the area is dry. as you go south of the beltway near quantico, 95 near woodbridge, we have heavier rain. mostly now in charles county. la plata will see this pretty soon. we'll be watching the showers. that's all we have currently. it is warm out, though. near 80 degrees right now in washington, annapolis. leesburg, 70 degrees. gaithersburg 70. quantico at 77 degrees right now. here's future weather. so as we go through, i would say the middle of the day, closer to lunchtime, we could see a few showers flaring up by 2:00 p.m. maybe a couple thunderstorms. later this evening, the models are trying to show more showers and storms moving through. that's 9:00 p.m. we go into your friday. we'll have a higher chance for the afternoon showers and storms. so k

a high schoolers class project sparked a reunion seven decades in the making. >> a holocaust survivor and the family who saved his life reunited. a story only on news 4. tom was a boy in the netherlands in 1945 when two jewish children showed up in the middle of the night. ralph and his sister needed a place to hide from the nazis. tom's parents and six siblings made room. after the war ended, they lost touch. on wednesday, the pair reunited the national holocaust memorial and museum. th
