beautiful conditions out there. that sunset. after the sun passed, the sky was almost orange. in the upper 70s as we go throughout the remainder of the day, mostly sunny conditions. do we have humid and rain for the forecast? we'll let you know in a few minutes. we're working to learn more about the arrest of a man suspected of killing three girls. yesterday, police arrested and charged antonio williams in clinton. he lives on the same street as the home where the girls were kill. right now, police are not telling us if he lived in the same house. police are holding a conference at 11:00 this morning and we'll learn much more then. a crash on the baltimore parkway, we know the road has

before midnight. u.s. park police say the driver of one of the cars was taken to prince george's hospital in critical condition and passengers in the car were treated at the scene. no word what caused this. as soon as we get updates we'll update you on the washington app. investigation under way in florida after officers were shot in separate incidents, in kissy me, and in the hospital and they were checking an area of the city known for drug activity when they were shot. they did not get a chance to return fire. three suspects are in custody and they're looking for a fourth. in jacksonville, florida, two officers hurt when someone inside a home opened fire on them. the officers were able to shoot back. the suspect died. one officer is now in critical condition and the other in stable condition at the hospital. >>

of the show, one week since the violent protests and a state police chopper went down. law enforcement will pay tribute to one of two troopers today. there was no call as far as distress was concerned for that helicopter before it crashed last week and ves are trying to figure out the exact cause. and police say the man who rammed a car into the protesters last saturday, he was already accused of killing heather heyer and now he faces more charges as some of the others were hurt seriously and some permanently. it only grows. and opposition to the planned removal of the statute

the unite the right rally. charlottesville mayor says he wants a special session of the state legislature to debate its removal. governor terry mcauliffe says that won't help because the issue is tide up in court after a vote to remove it this year. the mayor initially voted against the removal in february. another statute won't be the site of demonstrations any time soon. we're talking about this one in richmond from protests this week. governor mcauliffe issued an executive order that temporarily bans rallies and protests. monuments in our area, the statute of general pike sits on federal land. >> last night, someone splattered it with red paint. megan fitzgerald picking up the

this morning, officials in spain are looking to set the terror threat level. police are searching for members of the terrorist cell. five members were killed in the terror attack including an american who was celebrating his anniversary. they planned to build a large truck bomb in barcelona. dealing with tragedy this morning, a man in finland went on a stabbing rampage, killing two people, six others, got hurt. police finally shot the man in the leg and took him into custody. police think the man acted alone but not ruling out the possibility of other suspects. it happened in the western city of turku. security has not been stepped up there. 6:11 your time there. look athi
