family. he had been there a week and had gone in because he was suffering from symptoms of heart disease or failure and had signs of progress but took a turn for the worst here, and he broke down barriers for caomics. he started in the army doing comedy, and he played the chicago playboy club, and it really started to open doors for himself and other activist comedians and self-proclaimed apb agitator. a lot of people remember him playing over at the howard theater. listen to these folks and what they remember about him. >> i remember dick gregory when i first came to d.c. and i would go to the howard theater, and he was a comedian. >> well, more of an activist. he's the last of our revolutionaries.

cousins. the children's bodies were found inside a home on clinton. williams' mother left him to look after the girls, and neighbors are stunned. >> my heart goes out to the family. i don't have an opinion because i don't have all the facts but i am sure that family is definitely devastated, and we as a community would like to support that family in any way that we can. >> williams is now facing murder charges for those girls' deaths. this was the scenes across the country today, in dallas close to 2,300 people gathered to make their voices heard. one of the largest demonstrations happened in boston. nbc's chris pallone has more. >> in boston, thousands on the march, spreading a message of unity and equality. a response to last week's white nationalists
