' wls know there was a 15-year-old girl also in that car and he is dealing with life threatening injuries. for those of you familiar with the area this is close to the popular french restaurant. >> also following

tribute for kick gregory and that brought big names to town and lawrence o'donnell spoke there about his influence and relationship on him. a lot of people came to say good-bye but this guy was an icon of comedy and activism. he paved the way for comedians. everyone from richard prior to david chapell. he died last month at the age of 84. he had become part of d.c. he made this his home. he was known to be showing up for rallies here. any cause that fit that persona that he created over the years to the stories about meeting gregory and how he was influencing the young comedians in this area as

the parents of this precious little boy remembered their son during a vigil last night. it's been one year since the 6 month old baby died. his step grandfather is charged in that. his parents say they're praying for justice for their son while making sure to remember his sweet smile. >> we still have to celebrate his life. >> pearson picked him up from dayca daycare he died later. he was scheduled for trial last month. >> the next step in the battle to rename jeb stewart high school will take place this week. it's named after a confederate military leader and yesterday the community voted to rename this school. this has been two years in the making. started when students went to the school board saying the name isn'tef

and track just along it. then we have two tropical systems. we have tropical storm maria and tropical storm lee. lee is going to break up a little bit. it's not as well defined as it was yesterday. maria, newly named storm. that is going to be a hurricane by the end of the day and it's going to continue to strengthen. possibly category 3. i want to show you that track. first let's talk about the track of jose. 80 miles per hour. category 1 hurricane. it's going to be well off the east coast but we'll have to see what it does right after that. so tuesday into wednesday we could have a little bit of cloud cover. if it tracks just a little bit to the west in this cone of uncertainty we could see maybe some outer bands of rain along the eastern shore but that's it. that's all we're going to see. maybe a little bit of a breeze. this is one to watch. this is the islands. that's what really got eaten up by irma.
