stephen paddock, the man who went on the deadly shooting rampage in las vegas. the fbi says she is a person of interest and may provide clues into what led to the attack. danley had been in the philippines. good morning, everyone. i'm molette green. as we all now know, paddock shot more than 500 people at a country concert in las vegas sunday night killing dozens. and this morning we're getting our first look at the dramatic footage from police officer's body cameras. >> go back. go back. >> this video gives you an idea of the chaos and the terror that went on during this shooting. you can hear the rapid gunfire in the las vegas police officer screaming for people to take cover there. the gunfire lasts almost the entire video, which is about three minutes long as the s.w.a.t. team headed to the

these officers helped evacuate people from the concert venue. all the while you can hear screaming and crying as people ran for their lives. we're also getting new video of a candlelight vigil held to honor the victims of the worst mass shooting in u.s. history. ♪ ♪ >> police held last night's vigil in lieu of national night out. several members of the law enforcement community held candles and played for those who are still in the hospital. as we look live at las vegas this morning, we know the investigation still unfolding. we're going to get you up to speed on the very latest in just a moment as well as a report from news 4's aaron gilchrist who is on the ground there. first, we do want to check in with our chuck bell and a look at what you face as you head out e

gulf of mexico to watch. zwroo another look ago the chilling police body camera. you can see people crouching down trying to get people to safety as gunfire rained down. you can hear rounds of rapid gunfire. today president trump will visit las vegas to meet with the victims. 59 people ever dead, another 31 remain in critical condition. meanwhile, police say paddock transformed his hotel room into a perch. he used a legal device to modify the guns to make them fire quickly. paddock stationed cameras in the hotel hallway to watch for approaching police. a mother and father will spend another day by their daughter's hospital bed and this

take a look here. this is the picture of tina frost on the right there with her mother. tina was shot in the head at the concert in las vegas and doctors had to remove her right eye to save her life. frost grew up in an arundle high school. tuesday they gathered at the school to talk about her. >> from watching twhafs going on and to have it come right here into our backyard, it was powerful. it hurt. we were concerned. we're concerned for everyone, but it's one of our own and you can tell by laura and kevin how far that goes. >> a go fund me campaign has been set up to cover the mounting medical bills. and we've also

fund me pages for these next two people. bill wolf, who you see here, was killed in las vegas. wolf was a youth wrestling coach in shippensberg and denise was also killed. she's shown with her husband. he says she died in his arms. as we learn more about the shooting, we're also learning more about the people who were there. aaron gilchrist is in las vegas this morning. he's hearing some incredible stories of survivasurvival. >> reporter: sarah rasmussen shot this video from her cell phone. i spoke to her husband alex via face time. >> the gunfire stopped. i grabbed sarah and we took off. alex called the scene a full stampede. his wife was in shock. they had no

president trump is back in washington after visiting the island on tuesday. this video you're looking at has gone viral showing the president tossing supplies to residents. the governor of the island now says nearly half of the residents will have running water by the end of the week, but as our doreen against lgens us the physical damage will take a lot longer to visit. >> reporter: if you've ever visited the lush green beautiful island of puerto rico, i don't think you'd recognize it. this tree is one example of what we've seen all over the island. look at the size of the tree, and it looks like it just exploded out of the ground. it's tipped over on to a fence. we're at a kidney dialysis clinic parking lot. it's probably going to be weeks if not months before this tree is removed, and this is what we've seen all over. just row after row after row of trees that

southern states and killed nearly 100 people. u.s. relations with cuba seem to be unraveling. the u.s. state department is expelling 15 cuban diplomats from their embassy here in washington. officials believe there has been a mysterious sonic attack that has left more than 20 american diplomats in havana suffering from bizarre health symptoms. the state department has significantly reduced staff in the u.s. embassy there. the cuban government says this is a political move and that it has no involvement in any attacks on americans. 60 years ago today russia launched the first artificial satellite called the sputnik. it forever changed the way we communicate. this morning when you checked your cell phone, clicked on the tv, all made possible because of

you're watching "news 4 today." first it was one woman, now it's more than a half dozen. a man accused of groping a woman on a fairfax county trail was hit with new charges yesterday. police say jeremiah trolly is behind at least seven attacks since august. they arrested him last friday after officers say he attacked a woman on a trail near waffles mill and random hill road. today is national walk to school day. we do have this warning for parents whose kids plan to participate. prince gorges county police say a little girl was sexually assaulted after she got off the school bus last week. the attacker is still out there. we explain what we know about this disturbing case. >> reporter: terrified parents picking uphe

they're afraid after an elementary school student was sexually assaulted last week in this neighborhood. the little girl was attacked walking home up devon hills drive last thursday afternoon. >> when it first happened nobody told us. like everybody else knew. i had to find out -- get a phone call from the neighbor. >> reporter: at grasmiere court a block after she got off the school bus the little girl was alone. she was grabbed by a stranger, dragged between two cars where she was sexually molested. he touched her inappropriately. the little girl was able to break away and run. police say they got a good description of the suspect. >> the suspect at this time we believe hispanic male, 5'8", 260 pounds with a moustache and black or very dark hair and at the time was wearing a green shirt. >> reporter: the school system is working closely with police issuing this warning to parents. >> parents, talk to your children about walking in groups of two or more.
