talking quite a bit about puerto rico's debt, in fact he mentioned it in an interview last night saying that we need to wipe out that debt and some frustrated that he continues to talk about that while the people in puerto rico are still suffering. and when the president lands, he will find a community grieving, we now know the names of most of the people whom stephen paddock killed, in addition to paddock 58 people died in that shooting. the focus of the investigation is turning to paddock's girlfriend who is back in the united states. investigators met her when she landed at l.a.x. >> this video from police body cameras shows the frantic search to find the gunman and the rush to move people out of the firestorm raining down from the 32nd floor of the mandalay bay hotel and

the first images from inside stephen paddock's hotel room are chilling. just inside the door, a high powered sniper weapon, just one of 29 weapons found in the room. officers say he turned one of the weapons on himself as they rushed in. investigators also have uncovered multiple video cameras. >> there were two cameras located in the hallway so the suspect could watch as law enforcement or security approached his room. and there was another camera placed inside the hotel room door peephole so that he culled see down the hallway. >> investigators also met marilou danley who returned from the philippinesing overnight. >> the investigation of her is ongoing, currently she's a person of interest.

so many of you are feeling heart broken by this week's deadly attack in las vegas. how can we help each other cope with this sort of grief and anxiety. so many people are feeling a bit overwhelmed right now, even if they don't have any connections to las vegas or the victims, how can people sort of process and handle what they're seeing? >> well, i think that people when they're experiencing difficult times, this is the time to really fall back on the good habits, make sure you're actually not turning to alcohol or things like that as your way

getting enough sleep, exercise and eating well. and the other thing i would recognize is just turn the tv off. you don't need to be watching 24-hour news, hearing all the tragic news. so i would say, check in, watch the news, and after you have watched for a little bit and you're up to date, turn it off. >> take a break. >> take a break. >> for children of any ages, what do we say to them when they ask, mommy, daddy, what is that? what am i seeing? >> so, obviously it's going to depend on the age of the kids. so for kids that are your child's ages, i would shield them from it. you want to shield them as much as possible. if they do happen to hear about it at school or hear something about it on tv or the news. you want to keep it very basic, there was a bad man, he did

everything's going to be okay. they don't need to know the nuances of how things can go wrong. as kids are older, older elementary, or above that, you can have more sophisticated conversations, i would just turn it to them, what are your thoughts, what do you think about this stuff? you can say look, if there's something you want to talk about, even if it's a week from now, we'll discuss it. you got to also realize, kids take their coups from the parents, so if a parent is afraid to let their kid go to a concert, or they won't let them go to the mall, that's sending a powerful message to the kids. so you want to watch your reaction. >> we have seen it in our social feeds, to sort of react to the news and express some sadness. how can

out about your grief on social media, how can that help out? >> i think it just gives another forum. social media is changing so many aspects of the way that we live and this is just a place where, if you're grieving, particularly if you're one of those who have lost somebody and maybe it's not from this particular tragedy, but just somebody in your life, social me ee ee eed media allow platform. it's helpful for people to know they're not alone, and there's other people they can bounce their thoughts off of. grief keeps no timeline, so some people are going to be grieving for months, years, maybe a lifetime. and some people are going to say, i can't keep talking about this with my friends, but if they go online and they have a network there that enables them to get the support that they need. >> it can be a

us, it smells so good in the studio. so tell us about some of the herbs from your garden? >> we have got about a dozen herbs that we're growing out at the big garden at the vineyards. one of the things that we do conceptually is break them into hard herbs and soft herbs, your soft herbs rosemary and cilantro and your soft herbs you want to cook at the last second, add that to the recipe at the last minute. one boil and it's done, raz rosemary and sage and those hard herbs you can cook for a long time. >> and it won't change the flavor or break down too much? >> yes, we make syrups and oils from them. we'll actually do a lot of neutral oils. meaning just the vegetable oil as

oil with rosemary and garlic that everybody knows about. and we'll use those oils in a lot of our kecooking production items and especially in our paste t pastry items. >> i have my rosemary oil and my mint syrup and rosemary syrup already prepared. >> how long do you have to keep it in the oil to give it the flavor that you need for your recipes? >> you can bring that to a boil in literally 30 seconds you can strain it out. >> and you're ready to go. so i'm just going to make a simple cake today that i'm going to flavor with rosemary oil. i'm going to have you pour that in. that's the rosemary oil, you're going to pour it all in. >> does this replace butter or does it replace something else in your recipes? >> any time you have a liquid oil. and it smells even better when it's in the oven. any time you have a liq

the weekend on saturday, kind of a 50/50 split. we'll keep saturday dry, on sunday highs around 80 degrees, with a chance for showers around later in the day, and rain is likely on monday, remember, monday being columbus day, so if you have that extra bonus day off, you might want to think about options for what you could do indoors on monday that would be rain from what's likely to become at least tropical storm nate later todhursday or early friday morning. and then next thursday and friday, we'll keep it dry, because we really need this rain, and we're going to get it on monday and tuesday and we have new information coming in and myself and douglas will have more coming up on news4 at 4:00. and we're likely to have another tropical storm this season and that would be nate. >> good to see that great weather for the nats belief game
