sources are telling us there was another option here that d.c.'s attorney general paul racine could have gone to the supreme court for an appeal of all of this. a last-ditch effort to keep that conceal carry law in place. we're told that he will not be doing that. back in july, a three-judge panel ruled 2 to 1 against d.c.'s current conceal carry permit law saying it was unconstitutional. it also has a provision in it calling for a good reason, like a fear of injury or some other proper reason to award that permit. now, racine has argued that other cities and states have similar policies in place and that d.c. really should be no different. however, our sources now telling us today he will announce he will not go to the supreme court for an appeal of this decision in this case. an about face for d.c. of course, right now, with las vegas, lots of
