jay gray is standing by with a live report from alabama. we begin with our meteorologist, somara theodore. how is it looking? >> it did make its first land fall near the mouth of the mississippi river and it is beginning to make the second land fall. straight to the storm right now, we are seeing the hardest, the heaviest portion of the storm in the northeast quadrant. no new orleans is not overturn the hurricane tropical storm warning. none tlhe less, that means life threat threatening storm surge. in the orange that's where you are seeing a tropical storm warning out. the storm surge is t

here we have in white, storm surge warnings where they could be seen in biloxi. it is dangerous. we got severe weather out towards areas like mobile, alabama. we have been seen tornado warnings on the ground as well. parts of northern alabama under the tropical storm warnings there. a lot is taken place the next couple of hours as the storm makes land fall along the gulf coast. here is the latest track that came in 11:00. 85 miles per hour, it did slow down its movement just a tad bit. 20 miles per hour, the storm is looking at that. actually it is working in its favor. it is not able to swing as much. >> it is expected to weaken in a tropical storm. that track pushes up towards the northeast. clipping portions of the cone of uncertainty and clipping portion of northern maryland as we head into monday morning. we could be

upwards of 30 miles per hour. it is going to have a local impact. here is a look at the tropic and impact that it is going to have locally. we are expecting those impacts on monday and early tuesday morning. areas of heavy rainfall certainly, anywhere from one to three inches possible. we'll be tracking wind gusts and picking up 30 miles per hour as we head into the top of the week. here is a look at the future cast, you can see not only nate but we have a front that's going to be pushing in from the midwest. we'll see nates moisture dr's m. lets count us off, 11:00 a.m., notice the time mark there, quiet to start our sunday. i am not ruling out the chance for some showers early sunday morning. overall though, cloudy for your sunday. as we head throughout sunday, it looks like we'll stay on the dryer and damp side. we'll see that chance for showers and then we'll move into
