4:48 pm
so, it has been a while. we are going to keep the 60s around tomorrow. not only that, but the clouds and some patchy drizzle as well. that is your first weather headline. watching saturday now, throughout the week it was looking like saturday would be really nice. upper 70s, plenty of sunshine, but now it looks like we'll have plenty of clouds around throughout the day on saturday. still keeping it dry but a little cooler. temperatures warming into the upper 640s and low 70s on saturday. next week all in all, i have to say it's gorgeous. crisp, school fall weather on the ten-day forecast. tomorrow it's cool but we're going to have drizzle out there. so, another damp day. at the bus stop kids will want something waterproof. 58 degrees at that point. by recess probably outside, but i can't rule out some patchy drizzle. really throughout the day and some scattered like showers. 64 degrees at recess and pickup right around 66. we have a lot of great friday night football games going on across the area tomorrow, oxon hill, woodbridge at freedom. you want to bring waterproof jacket to those games tomorrow evening as well.
4:49 pm
the most part, mid 60s with plenty of clouds and that's where we find ourselves right now, doug, in the 60s. like i said, i can't believe the last time we had highs in the 60s, not in the month of october, but early september. >> yeah, that's right. it's been on the warm side for sure. now on the cool side. that's the way it's going to continue to be today and tomorrow. and into part of the weekend. outside right now we are down by the anthem. we were there a minute ago. we are now on what's called district pier. this is a cool spot, too. you get to walk out on the pier, see the boats on one side. take a look with me here. this is the concert venue where kevin bacon, the bacon brothers will be going on tonight. a lot of people, you play that game. six degrees of separation from kevin bacon. you've got one because you know me and kevin has done the weather on my show before. he's actually come on and been one of the bacon brothers before. i met kevin. he's here for an interview.
4:50 pm
we're trying. we're still working on getting kevin bacon, see if we can get him live. going on 5:00? is he going on at 5:00? 5:00, he's going on at 5:00 any minute now. let's show you the weather, guys. it's looking good right now, but we do expect to see some showers. temperature wise we're in the 60, 64 degrees at the airport. only 61 leesburg. cool air for sure. we've seen those showers. we're going to continue to see those through the evening hours. if you're coming down to the wharf expect the temperatures to drop a little bit and expect some drizzle. expect some shower activity. i think the showers will increase as we move on through the night. go right to the ten-day. as we move on through the next few days, tomorrow another cool day with some shower activity. saturday now we're thinking we could see some shower activity there, too. and then sunday we really think the day will break out for sure, high temperatures into the low 80s and then next week a rather cool week. i'm going to go ahead, get my seat there for the bacon brothers. are they coming out now? some of the guys are already coming out. i have to send it back in to you guys. >> all right. enjoy the bacons. >> kevin is lookinfo
